Question about Apple iPhone 3G
How do i copy all contacts from my iphone to my computer, by using data usb cord
To copy contacts from iPhone to computer
- Open iTunes on your computer that you sync it to
- Plug in your phone to the computer
- open "Address book" window's address book program. Kinda lame, but it works. Its under start-programs-accessories
- Back to iTunes, click on the phone icon on the left
- Click on the Info, and under "Contacts" (the first one) check "sync contacts from" and then pick "Mac address book" from the drop down menu
- Click all contacts
- Then at the bottom right of iTunes, click "Sync" It will ask you if you want to merge or replace. Make sure you select "MERGE" or it will delete your contacts on the phone.

open up itunes and then in the middle left of the itunes program click your iphone make sure its connected via usb lead and click on your iphone under devices
you should get the screen like the pic below. Now at the top middle of itunes you will see a number of blue tabs click the one saying info.
make sure "sync contacts with" is ticked then click on the box next to it and select windows contacts from the drop down list.
then the line of text directly under sync contacts with that says all contacts click the circle to the left of it so it has a black dot there.
now at the bottom right of your itunes program is a button sayin sync click that.
after the sync is complete all of your contacts will be on your computer
