Question about Dell Dimension™ B110 PC Desktop
Good day. I just purchased a 21.5" Samsung widescreen flatpanel, which has a native resolution of 1920x1080. I've downloaded and installed the most up to date VGA and chipset drivers I could find from the Dell website, as well as the latest driver for the monitor itself from the Samsung website. All of the drivers are correct and working, but the image is still stretched out, and it will not show 1920x1080 in the list of resolutions in the settings. Any further ideas or links to a driver that might solve my problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Click start control panel display desktop you can select a different desktop from the drop down list or a browse button where you can select different pictures this may vary depending on your operating system. also settings you can change the settings for more or less pixels or from the drop down list pick the appropriate level of color range or troubleshoot also select advanced then general dpi normal ,larger or custom settings.
Always click APPLY after making any changes Right click in the top toolbar you will see a number of toolbars and options select the menu tab this will add at it to the toolbar On the top of the internet page you should Tabs File Edit View Favorites Tools and help Click on the view tab on the drop down list you should see a zoom % Click a different percentage also a text you might try a different text although this will not increase the of the page only the text fonts inside it. Hope this helps.

You also have to install the monitor drivers.
And yes, the drivers directly from Intel will not work. Dell has a perpritory video, and you have to use the Dell Intel drivers.
I've installed a few of these, and I know they will work.
But I had to go with a 1280x1040 setting. It does work, and will fill the entire screen.
Another option is to put in a PCI video card (yes, a full size card will fit in the GX260's) One bonus to that is you can do multiple monitors. I've had best luck in the GX260's using video cards with an ATI chipset.
