be patient with this, it will downgrade the firmware, but any time you contact or connect with Epson, they will upload firmware and reset your printer firmware so it will not recognize compatible cartridges. I am still working on this.

Depending on the PSP Model 1000-2000 you can downgrade your PSP using Custom firmware by forming a MMS using RainsUltralite and a Pandora's battery. Custom firmware equivalent to the official firmware can be determined by the games played. Most recent games require updated firmware. you will have to downgrade the firmware as anything higher then 4.0.1 wont jailbreak at this time

and download the selected firmware for the ipod touch model you have. if your unsure if the model / type you can goto http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/#
and type in the last 3 numbers of your serial number to find out

if you want to downgrade or upgrade, choose the firmware you want to downgrade to, then go to itunes and shift-click on restore and choose the firmware you want to change to. this will restore your ipod touch

as arule you cant downgrade only upgrade on i-phones.

It's impossible to downgrade your PSP from it's current version. I'm not quite sure why you'd want to downgrade, but maybe you should upgrade (If a version is available) again and see if you like that version better. ^-^
