My electric coleman furnace will not run.

Depress the interlock switch manually as the furnace is starting up. That should give you your answer. Some furnaces (mine) rely on a friction fit of the cover panel to close the switch. Over time, the friction fit stops fitting.

Heat element continues after t-stat satisfied.

Sounds like the heating element has broken in two and is shorted to ground. even with only 110 to one side of the element and if the element burns in two and fall against the side of the frame it will complete the circuit and begin to heat up. Make sure you shut the power off to the furnace and then pull the heating element assembly and examine the elements to see if any are broken and shorted to the frame.

I have a coleman presidential electric heater in my mobile home. The heating element works but the blower wont turn on. What could it be?

First check your thermostat.. RED wire(power) should be connected to the GREEN wire(fan).... a Multi- Meter should read 24v if you have power. If there's power going to the FAN(Green) Then your looking at a Bad Blower Motor (AND, OR) A bad Capacitor.

Hopefuly it's just a loose wire or bad capacitor,, the motor isnt cheap..
!!!STAY SAFE!!!!!.. and best of luck to you.....

I have a Coleman model FL 28-R electric fireplace, contract # 230811 (made in China). The heating element is not functioning. I removed same and tested the resistor on top next to the tempurature control...

There is a fuse located over the heating element in front of the fan. It sits over a small slot above the heating element (probably to cause it to stop working by design). Yes I'm a pessimist. It can be bypassed if it is an emergency by wiring across it. I'm trying to find the replacement fuse now (10amp jet 250v #00575) If you find it please send info to warfalcon23@Gmail.com. I hope we all get our heaters working, for $250 + dollars you'd expect it to last longer than 1 month.

Draft fan keeps on running after furnace shuts

That sounds pretty normal for most furnace/heater products. They run the heating element with fan for a cycle then after the heater reaches temperature it will shut off and the fan will continue to run to cool the element and to circulate the heat that it produced. If you want the manual for this product it looks like you can get it here: http://homeappliance.manualsonline.com/ex/product/headline/m/Coleman%2BEvcon/d/furnace/p/DGATO75BDC

YOU COULD REMOVE THE ELEMENTS KILLING POWER FIRST AND TAKE THEM TO THE HEATING AND COOLING SUPPLIER NEAR YOU SEE IF THEY CAN CROSS IT WITH ONE THAT WILL BOLT UP OF EQUAL WATTAGE , AS FAR AS THE 72 COLEMAN THE TECH IS MOST LIKELY CORRECT .
