Light switch has gone bad use your model number to order a new one

I had a similar problem: unresponsive buttons, then the 1 hour wash button led was on but the other buttons weren't working at all.
I power off for more than 30 seconds and after that everything return to normal.

I have a kitchenaid dishwasher model # KUDC10FXBL1 I went to start it and none of the buttons were working. I have checked the breaker and the wiring and everything seems to be in order.

You're right about not using the self clean option. Your oven gets up to over 800 degrees when you use that feature. You can choose to simply keep your oven wiped out, rather than self clean it. Circuit board/ Electronic control assembly needs to be replaced.

1. Disconnect power to dishwasher. Remove screws holding the control panel from the side of the inner door. Remove control panel. If it does not come off - remove all screws on the inner side of the door and separate the inner and outer door.
2. Fuse is on the right side on top of the control board. it usually has tan or black or yellow wires to it. Disconnect wires and check fuse for continuity. if none - replace fuse with wiring harness supplied with it.
