Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

V3 unresponsive Keyboard

Hello, my V3 Razr has recently been having problems with the keyboard and all keys for that matter excluding the power button. The keyboard has become 100% unresponsive
I would like to know if there is a button that locks all the buttons or if my phone is becoming defective.
Would the RSD Lite be of any help?
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

My keyboard is unresponsive. The phone will show it's charging while plugged in to the charger, but when unplugged the power button will not work, along with the rest of the keyboard.

Keyboard light will not light up.

Some of the razr's have a battery saver mode which will not allow the keyboard to light up, so check your power settings. Otherwise the sensor on the upper corner of the keyboard may have become defective or received a little moisture damage. It will either have to be cleaned or the keyboard flex will have to be replaced. The flex cables can be purchased on ebay. You will need to see what version razr you have. It can be found on the sticker under the battery. Also, you should be able to find disassembly guides on youtube or just do a general search on your favorite search engine.

Keyboard seems to be shorting out

the problem where your voice dialing button on the side is depressing by itself, it either has liquid or the key itself is getting stuck , take a flat screwdriver n file the edges of the place where it houses the voice dialing button, if still persists, u need to clean the liquid off the flexi that houses the voice dialing button.
