Unfortunately when pumps fail, depending on the design, it is due to either their internal membrane ripping, bearing or guide seizing, solenoid seizing or motor burning out.
Have a technician install a new pump, or if you are qualified to replace the pump, find a supplier and buy a new one.

Pump has started making gurgling sound

You may have an air lock try using machine on and off 5seconds each time sow that you give the pump time to regain the water.
If not try and inject water your self from the rare instead of water tank some time when you get air lock it is removed alone by just simply leave it over night after you had tryed the water pump because the air lock is removed alone slowly.

Pump won't stop pumping

It sounds like the electronic PCB has failed and is supplying current to the pump all the time. It's not the sort of repair that a homeowner would be wanting to tackle. They are not made with ease of repair in mind. I would advise getting a quote from an authorised Krups service agent or just binning it.

No espresso coming out Krups XP2070 10 cup Coffee Maker/15 bar Pump Espresso

Does it produce steam? Does it start making Espresso and then stops after just a few seconds? In this last case you have a faulty flow sensor. I replaced mine but it only worked for a few weeks before failing again. If you are not getting any flow at all it could be that your coffee holder is blocked which can be fixed by cleaning. It could also be that the valves that control the flow are faulty. I replaced mine to make it work again. I gave up on the unit after many repairs and gave it away!

Good luck!

Water fails to pump through coffee-filled filter

Take the lid off the reservoir and watch the short tube. Start a brew.
If no water comes out of the tube, replace the water pump.
If water does come out, the machine is plugged, the three way valve is stuck, or the relief valve has failed. The most probable is the relief vale failed.

Franke saphira will not exit rinse unit, will not rinse the coffee head but will supply hot water and steam. but will not depense any coffee. help please. I have had a Franke Man out and he has no clue he...

The machine has two pumps - one for each boiler. Did the Franke man check both pumps were working. If the main boiler pump has failed, the machine will know that the rinse hasn't occurred and won't go any further.

Unit fails to prime> have followed instructions. Is there a reset button?

Hi
You might want to check you hoses that connect to the pump and make sure that both of them are in the water tank. They will come loose from the pump and the pump won't prime.

My Hamilton Beach 40729 will not brew! The motor hums and I can get water to pump through the steamer. Please help!

This unit does not use the pump to generate steam, so if the pump is bad (motor works but the pump it drives does not transfer water) you will get steam but no water through the head to the portafilter.

The unit is not user serviceable and at $68 to buy a new one, it is for the most part, disposable.

The pumps on this unit do not like to be run dry as they rely on water as a lubricant. Without water in the reservoir, the pump may fail in a short running time.

check the water temp and make sure the grind is not to fine. if both of these checkout ok then it may be a weak pump. you will have to find a replacement pump.
