You can use the Media Coder that came with your player. Instructions here: http://www.memorex.com/downloads/manuals/MMP9008-E_S.pdf , page 15.

Or, go to http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html and download SUPER@. Be patient, they make you click through three pages until you can download the application. Once downloaded, set it up like this:

How Do I Put Videos On My Memorex mmp9008 mp3 play - 5e538f6.jpg

If you right click in the area below the output section, you will get this menu:

1d8f84e.jpg

You can drag and drop your media files into the area where you see one of mine. To change the destination folder, click on output file management.

When you click "Encode (Active Files)" , it will give you a choice of encoders. Choose "XVID" , and your files will playback on your MMP9008 every time! Enjoy! A 1.6 GB file will shrink down to about 150 MB.

After transferring a movie from my pc to my Philips go gear muse, it does not play on my device. A message comes up and says unsupported. how can i correct this

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX.If your player cannot play a video then it is anincompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to aformat that your MP3 player uses. After video conversion then copy the videofiles to your MP3 player using the USB cable from your computer.Click on this link for instructions on converting videofiles for MP3 players :-http://www.fixya.com/support/r5874192-play_videos_mp3_player

Whenever I put songs in my RCA MP3 player from blank cds, the organization gets immensely messed up, forcing me to start all over from scratch (0 music). Why? Or how can I fix this?

It could be that your RCA MP3 player is sorting the MP3's by track number. By this I don't mean the track number in the file name of the MP3 but in the "MP3 tag". There's a portion of every MP3 file that allows the file to contain lots of data other than the sound. It contains things like Album, Year, Artist, Title, Composer, Genre, etc. It's likely that the RCA MP3 player is reading the "Track Number" field of the MP3 tag for each MP3 file. You can download a free program called MP3Tag at http://www.mp3tag.de/en/. It will let you specify the track numbers for each MP3. See if setting each file's "Track Number" allows you to sort the order on the MP3 player.

Video trouble

Maybe? Videos that play on your PC may not be supported on your device. If this is so your device will either say file not recognized or unsupported file, or just not play.Even if it supports AVI files they may not play due to unsupported size, bit rate, codex.Did the player come with a file converter? try converting a small file and try to load it,play it.Good Luck

My new slick stick mp3 player is great but i don`t know how to put videos on it

if this is the slick stick portable MP3 player that looks like a flash drive and has a blue backlit monochrome LCD display thay your talking about then you cannot put videos on it as far as I know but ive seen this little player on a few websites and it says you can put JPEG pictures on it and supposedly display them but i doubt you can, i mean in what a 100x20 pixel screen then no jpegs will look grainy, as for the guest that posted on june 25th you can get mp3s from many different places like limewire and rhapsody mp3 store i think this player can play DRM WMA files too and you just plug this little player into your USB port and then drag and drop your tunes its that easy, this player shows up in windows as a removable drive

My Sansa e200 won't convert my videos!!!!

What is the extension on the filename?

Make sure there are no strange characters in the file name. Take out everything other than letters, numbers and underscores "_".
