You want to go to(i have a dummy v3m, may be slightly different) menu, settings, security, now this is where things get goofy.... the passowrd could be all zeros 4,6,or 8. or commonly the last 4 of the phone number. i would recommend choosing erase my contacts, and erase my contect before doing reset phone. do the first 2 and that shoould get rid of all the personal info you dont want someone else getting.

Your phone that uses sim card or camera that uses sd card should have an option in them to delete all photos - images
You can also use reformat and it will erase everything on card.

Erase sim card

I suggest taking your phone to your service provider and asking them to do it for you because it is not worth the risk of someone finding your personal stuff on a phone they just bought and either complaining about it or keeping the info..hope I helped :]

Grapics, songs ,videos and voicemails deleted whats up?

The following is from the Razr V3 manual: Master Clear - Clear all user settings and entries except SIM card information, erase all downloaded pictures and sound files, reset all options except unlock code, security code, and lifetime timer. Caution: Master clear erases all user-entered information (including phonebook and datebook entries) and user-downloaded content (including photos and sounds) stored in your phone's memory. After you erase the information you cannot recover it.

Hope this answers your question.

Reset default settings for all options except the
unlock code, security code, and lifetime timer:

Erasing all phone numbers and user information on A650

FROM THE MANUAL

ERASE MEMORY

Erase memory erases your Phonebook and Voice Dial recordings. This feature is useful if you want to give your phone to a friend or family member.

1. In standby mode, press the left soft key (Menu), then press 9 (Setup), 4 (Security). You're prompted to enter the lock code.

2. Enter the lock code (try the last 4 digits of your phone number unless you set a different one), then press 6 for Erase Memory. A confirmation prompt appears in the display.

3. Use the navigation key to highlight Yes or No, then press OK. A confirmation message appears in the display while your messages are being erased. Your phone then returns to the Security menu.

RESET PHONE

Reset Phone returns all setup options to their factory default.

1. In standby mode, press the left soft key (Menu) then press 9 (Setup), 4 (Security). You're prompted to enter your lock code.

2. Enter the lock code, then press 7 for Reset Phone. A prompt appears in the display asking if you wish to restore default settings (except for the Phonebook and Voice Dial).

Deleting old contacts and pics

All your information is stored on the SIM card. The only thing that "stays" with the phone are custom ringtones, games, etc.

You can always perform a master reset from the settings menu to delete these and restore the phone to factory specs.
