I just had this same thing happen to me today. I had it under a light that was generating some heat (i didn't think it was THAT hot though) and now all images are coming through blurry and with a pinkish tint, until i click, then the preview shows me a b&w and neon green looking photo with motion blur. movies are coming though in their pinkish tint however, not the b&w and neon green. I'm hoping I didn't damage the sensor (it wasn't THAT hot!).

Problem started with camera not functioning at all tried new batteries but still nothing worked the way it should managed to get into setting and reset options. then when trying to take pictures a new problem started. The picture through view finder has neon green and red shadow and any picture saved seems to be totally over exposed or just white.

I was told by Fuji that I would have to send the camera in to have it repaired and that it was NOT on a recall list of any kind. It is displaying a white screen instead of the captured image at playback. They are telling me it's the LCD screen that has gone out. It was in padded, secure, climate controlled storage in my house for about a year since last use, so I'm not quite sure WHY it would have "gone out" for no reason, but...

I have a blurry image distortion in the center of the picture only- everything else looks fine- a solution to my problem?

Hi,

is the central of lcd divice bumped ?

1-are your lcd device show the correct image without any blur before taking the image ?

2- or this blur shown after taking the picture ?

for the first : your device lens should be clean through inner side.

for the second : the lcd should be checked , since the center of lcd may be bumped.

please let me know your checking result.

good luck

Upon newly purchased, vertical lines appearing intermittently with blurred images, puzzy or color changed every picture, very baddddd model, them!!! cost of lens is more than new, so why buy sony cam...

Hi,

This is a common problem. Check the previous images saved. If even the saved images/video's looked blurred, this confirms defective LCD screen. If saved images are fine, then this is highly suggestive of faulty CCD sensor.

If that is LCD screen, it could be an expensive deal to get it replaced as compared to the cost of the product. However, if it is CCD sensor, you could contact Sony and see, if there is any recall for it as in the past, there were certain recalls due to CCD sensor. However, as this is pretty new and under warranty, get it replaced/repaired ASAP.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Is this also apearing on the printouts or only on the LCD?
In any case if this is a constant occurance and in all SCN and dif. lightings I believe this is a repair.
If OoW the cost is aprox. 45 pounds + shipping to the repair centre.

Which mode are you shooting in?
You may have adjusted the exposure compensation so everything is washed out.

Whatever the cause, your images are overexposed. Try shooting in auto and the camera should take over the settings, but if you are in other modes, check your shutter speed, aperture, & ISO also. These are all things that can cause too much light and wash the picture out/OVEREXPOSE.

If you have any other questions or can give me more details, just ask!

Hope this helps!

Vivitar Mini Digiatl Camera - Picture Blur in perfect lighting...

having looked at the "image" mys suggestion is try a different memory card. If that's ok, then you know where the problem lies. I am looking at total file corruption on your BMP.

If a different card does not resolve the issue, then it's a workshop job.

Canon Powershot A75 blurred LCD display

It sounds like the focus element in your lens is not functioning properly. Does the lens retract completely when you turn off the camera? When you push the button does the camera attempt to focus the image? If you do not see any change in the image when you push the button, and do not hear any sound - then your focus motor is either jammed or malfunctioning. David Millier Advance Camera Repair
