SOURCE: I have a westinghouse 42
Normally it depends on what connection you are using to output a signal, all of the inputs on this unit are in one single board. What you need to do is to replace the main board because it sounds like your inputs migh have gone out. To check price and availability on the main board you can contact Westinghouse parts department at email@example.com, please make sure to include the model # along with serial # and TW# all loacted on the back of the unit. Hope this information was helpfull.

Found that TV started switching off by itself. Would try to come on..green light blinked for 2-3 seconds, tv came on (with picture and sound) for 1 or 2 seconds and then it would turn itself off. Found that the issue is with one channel only. If you are facing this issue....try quickly changing the channel the moment it comes on. You can do it either with remote or with the TV buttons directly. also in the same logic, if this is still happening, try changing the source to another (rgb-pc, av1, av2 etc). Basically change it from whatever input it is on currently, if changing the channels does not work. My symptom was that the tv made a loud 'TIK' 'TAK' sound which is louder than normal.

Your particular TV does not appear to have a "reset" mode to return to default (factory) settings. I can only assume that you are trying to get the picture back to "normal".
To do this grab your remote, press the "menu" button then select "picture' using the up and down buttons. Then press "enter" again and select "mode" this is where you can change the size, aspect ratio and etc. of your picture. Use the up and down buttons to select 16 by 9 format or "standard" if it says that in the menu. The image I have is too small for me to read exactly which setting it should be at. At least this is where you change those options I am pretty sure you will know which setting by checking the video. If it's still wrong then try some of the other "modes" and check again.

I would call the front desk. They usually have a maintenance person who can help you with the connection. If the TV HDMI port is not functioning, they may be able to swap tv's or move you to another room! Good luck!
