SOURCE: Need help installing filter pump model 635 for my swimming pool

Just go to the Intex Corp link below. Choose the appropriate pool and/or pump. At the bottom of the page you will see a link for instructional manuals and videos. Hope that helps.

Oh yeah, by the may want to start looking around for another pump for that pool if you plan on using it more than a year. I have had mine for 3 years and I spend more time in the pool vacumming than I do in the house!! The 635 pump is not strong enough for the 18x52 pool nor does it filter out fine silt and sucks it up and spits it right back into the pool thru the return. Good luck to you

SOURCE: pool pump intex 51 pumps water but return flow is low

if you cartridge is completly clean then start by disconecting the out tube that goes to the pump housing
sometimes debris gets caught there entering your pump.
a little hair causes other things to back up

once you are satisfird that those 2 things are ready then close it all up and open the bleeder cap on top of the cartridge holder

Now let water in from the suction side
when water starts coming out of the bleeder cap then open the return side
Now turn on the puimp
let it run for 20 seconds and then close your bleeder

Should be working fine after that.

dont forget to leave the bleeder cap alone on the bottom of the canister unless you are draining the water from the canister to clean it. As soon as you are done close it back up

I have a Deni pressure cooker. 1 out of 10 times it works correctly. The last 2 times the top exploded off and spread liquid through the entire kitchen. Thank god nobody was injured. I have went through...

All pressure cookers should have a release valve. Be sure that is clean and allows a free flow of steam when the weight is not on it. Test it with just water in the pot. Heat the water until its just about to boil (with the lid off) then close and lock down the lid. Steam should start to come out of the release valve. If not .. clean it again.

How to empty it

1. Push down on carry handle and
pull dirt container away from unit.

2. Once it is pulled back lift it out.

3. Hold dirt container over trash can and push down on bottom
release lever to release debris.

4. Close bottom cover on the dirt
cup until it snaps shut.

While you have the dirt container out you can also clean the Lifetime HEPA filter. It is on the top of the dirt container.

1. Twist lid to the left to remove lid and filter from

2. Remove foam filter from dirt container and dump out
any loose dirt. Wash the foam filter.

3. Remove the HEPA filter by Twist filter handle to the left and
pull out of lid. Wash the Heap filter.

4. Once the filters are thoroughly dry (I recommend set out for 24 hours) then installer filters in lid and thread back on top of the dirt canister.

Before replacing the dirt canister you can also clean the exhaust filter install below the dirt canister on the top vacuum cleaner head.

1. Loosen the exhaust grille by pressing the locking tab, and
remove it.

2. Remove and shake out the exhaust filter and wash it.
Note: Scented filter are not washable.

3. Once the filters are thoroughly dry relace it and snap the
exhaust grill into place.

Replace the dirt container
NOTE: Dirt container will not
align on base if filter is not
aligned properly.

How do you change the center core for pentair 160317 cc150

If you are talking about the cartridge, You first have to make sure filter is off. turn and open the pressure gauge to release pressure. Now If you can reach the bottom drain plug, unscrew it. If you can't that's okay. Your filter has a center belt - ring, and it has two push tabs. Push up and turn it counterclockwise. Take that off and you should be able to pull out lid. If you have a hard time taking off the lid, get a flat head screw driver and pried it open.. Good luck.

Blower vac vac tube will not stay on

fuel starvation
check the inline and fuel tank filters
and also the tank lid has a small gas presure release on it
this may be blocked causing a vaccume
try to also replace the paper air filter and also the spark plug
clean the fuel out and replace it start it and drain the carborator
with more fuel to run it out
if this fails to help
you may need to clean the carb

i dont think its anything serious
although it could turn out too be a faulty ingition pickup coil
{feeds the spark plug with juce}

Cant get lid off Waterway Top-Load Filter for spa

When taking apart any filter the lid can have a tendency to stay on due to the vacuum pressure created by the water inside.
Turn off the system, backwash if it's a de filter. Loosen and remove the band clamp, remove the drain plug, open the air release on the top of the filter and wait for all the water to drain. In many cases the lid will now pop off easily.....
If the lid is still stuck, and you have done the previous steps then reinstall drain plug temoporarily and with your hand on top of the filter, turn the system on momentarily and allow the pressure to pop the lid off for you, once it is off turn the system off and proceed with cleaning.
If you then have trouble getting the lid back on do the following steps....
Reinstall drain plug and with the top off of the filter turn the system on and allow it to fill with water(if you have a de filter make sure you have closed the backwash valve)
Once it is full turn off the system and quickly put the lid in place, then either open the backwash valve or remove the drain plug and allow the water to create a vaccum and pull the lid down for you as you help push it down. Reinstall band clamp and plug and you are set

I replaced CVA-24 when I turn on pool filter no water being pulled water being pulled through to pump

Your pump has probably lost its prime. This is either because it got too much air or not enough water. Try priming. This should make your pump start working again. Any time pool pumps have to be services, they need to be re-primed. In case you are not sure how, remove the pot lid and fill the pot with water. Re-add and clamp the pot lid. Open the air release valve on the filter and stand clear. Turn on switch or time clock. When water comes out of the air release valve, close the valve. If it is a two speed pump, make sure it is on high speed.

Water leaking from backwash when filter is on

The issue is not the filter, but the valve on the filter. There is usually a gasket that seals the different positions of the valve so water does not leak out. This gasket is probably the issue with your filter.

If you have a two piece valve, has screws holding down the handle section to the bottom of valve, then you may have an easier time fixing this issue. You will need to stop your system, release all the pressure from the filter using the Air Release Valve, or take the lid off the pump if you do not have the release valve, wait for about 30 minutes to ensure pressure is released. Then remove the screws around the valve, taking the handle section off in one piece. Check the bottom of the handle piece, see if there is a "spider gasket" or O-Ring that has gone bad.

    Opening a Sta-rite system 2 filter

I was in the pool business for 20 years and the way we open them, may scare you a little. We do just what you have done, then have someone hold down on the top so it will not blow too far off, then stand to the side and turn the pump back on for a few seconds(STAYING READY TO TURN IT BACK OFF) when it blows off! Put a clear lubricant on the gasket to reassemble! BE CAREFULL!
