I had to replace the wireless router in our office that all of our (8)computers connect through. There is also a wireless router that is attached to the copier. I was able to get into that router and change the settings so that we were able to print again. However, I have been unable to scan to computers on the network which I was able to do prior to changing the router. I have verified the IP address is correct. I am using Sharpdesk and I did try opeing the Network Scanner Tool today and having it search for available scanners, it acted like it found it- but I still couldn't scan to my computer. The only other thing I can think of trying is to uninstall and reinstall the driver software. Should that fix it, or is there an easier way?
Driver software wont affect the scanner functions unless its twain via USB. Sharpdesk is weird and thst unit can scan to smb, ftp, and smtp very easy. check DNS settings. Try putting the copier in dhcp mode and let it pull the TCP/IP info from the router again, then set the static address back to what it needs to be. Also turn the firewall in the router off.
