SOURCE: my syma s107 will not

Assuming the battery is fully charged, the shaft could be dry, purchase a WD-40 pen, they have a magic marker type tip that dispenses controlled amounts of lube by pressing the tip on a surface to get a drop then use a toothpick to put a small amount on the rotor shaft top and bottom. I did that to mine and the shaft spins a lot smoother. Mine always lifted off with no problem, but it got the gitters and and would drop a few feet now and then. after I oiled the shaft the gitters went away. Give it a try. John.

SOURCE: the top rotor of my syma S107 is not working and

This is a counter rotational craft and thus there should be two electric engines turning one rotor each. The top rotor is probably connected to the lover gear, and thus this is where you should start looking.

When you turn your top rotor, do any of the gears move? Try holding the gear while turning the rotor also, if the rotor is spin able while holding the gear then your rotor shaft is damaged and the entire rotor should be replaced if possible.

Also, try turning both rotors and see if one spins heavier than the other. This should
also indicate damage to the construction, or the engine.

If everything is looking all right, and all the gears turns all the way to the engine, and everything looks tight, then it is a great possibility your engine is fried.

Many of the sets have easily changeable rotors and rotor shafts, and some also have easily changeable gears. However, most cheap crafts like this do not have easily changeable engines. I do not know this model, so this you have to investigate. Now, it is possible to do engine shifts by yourself even if the manufacturer does not provide spare parts, but I

SOURCE: my Syma S107 will not lift off the ground. what

Had the same problem - the rotors would spin but the helicopter would not take off. Finally tried tightening both screws on the piece just below the Balance bar. I tightened one of the screws about 1/8 turn, and now it works great.

SOURCE: The tail rotor on my

It seems tail motor is not working.
S107 knows to come with faulty tail motor.

If you open pilot cabin, you should see blue and red (or green and red) wire. See if they are welded on the motherboard.
If they are, then tail rotor is not working properly.

SOURCE: SYMA S107 Helicopter. Advertised as 3

You're both confused. "channel" does not refer to how many different controller positions. In helicopter-speak, "channels" are how many different flight controls you have.
1) Throttle up/down, provides lift (left joystick)
2) Tail rotor up/down, tilts back end of helicopter, providing fwd/backward movement (vertical axis of right joystick)
3) Coaxial main rotor differential, by letting one of the two main blades spin at a slightly different rate than the other, helicopter can turn left/right (horizontal axis of right joystick)
Notice that sometimes these birds are labelled as "3.5 channel" the .5 of a channel refers to the trim control.
Regarding the ABC rocker switch. Most s107 helicopters have only two positions, meaning that only two helicopters can be used near each other and be controlled independently. (as many as you want can be controlled using one controller, there's youtube clips of a guy flying like 10 of these at once with one controller) There is one Syma s107 that I've found, available from Amazon (with Amazon, Inc. as the vendor, NOT a third party seller) that actually has 3 positions on the ABC rocker switch, they can be easily identified by the motors. Most s107s have two motors, one with a black top, and one with a white top. The "amazon" s107 has a pink topped motor and a green one. It's also about 50% faster and more agile than the standard s107.
I have 4 by the way.... 3 'normal' and 1 'super' they're all great but if I ever buy another it'll be the pink and green for sure.
So yeah, the ABC switch and the "3 channel" or "3.5 channel" are two different things.

Hope this clears up the confusion.

Heli not responding, blades attempt to rotate, very brief noise is heard, but norespnse

It could be a faulty battery. Amazon has replacements starting at $1.99. Alternatively there is possibly something binding up the drive shafts, string, hair, or maybe even bent.

Helicopter not stable

Hi, I had a toilet bowl effect after changing the blades on my s107g. After making sure the shaft was seated properly, I simply adjusted the tension on the screws holding the blades in position and after a bit of trial and error tightening and loosening: it's as good as new!

Probably just the cog on the motor not meshing with the main shaft gear.

My S107 does not move forward and backward as fast as others, it does go, just not as fast, is there a way to adjust this?

I had this problem and found that fibres had got caught then twisted into the rear blade, probably due to an earlier crash into the laudary. A pair of tweezers later and the problem was solved. Don't know if this helps but it's worth checking out.
