How can i solve the problem of my dell optiplex gx150 PIII, they have ascii code appear in the upper up dell logo and they have beep sound before going to logon status. I already try to upgrade my bios to a11. Please help to solve this problem. Thank you and more power.

I would open up the case and take the cmos battery out. In addition, look at the motherboard to see if there is a set of jumpers near the battery that say something like clr or clrcmos (I can't tell by looking at the diagram on Dell's site if there is one). If you find 3 pins labeled like that, switch the jumper to the alternate position and then back again after about 15 seconds. Now replace the battery. Start the system and see if it works.
This normally means there is a memory error. Have you recently added memory to the sytem? You can try to remove and reseat all memory modules in the system to see if that clears the problem.
To reinstall Xp from the CD you need to press F2 and go into the BIOS then select the boot order configuration and make the CD the first boot device and the hard disk the second boot device.
After installing XP, if you wish you can go back into the BIOS and change the boot order to boot from the hard disk first.
try going to the bios by pressing f2 or delete key on the keyboard at the dell logo.
if you are able to enter the system setup screen, reset the bios.
to reset the bios, press num lock, caps lock and scroll lock so that all 3 lights on the keyboard are on.
press alt + e and alt + f keys.
press esc twice
then select save changes and exit.
also try booting through the safe mode by hiiting f8 on the dell logo.
you can also try booting through the dell resource cd or win xp cd.
