SOURCE: micro sd card not reading songs
Yes, Brother there is one probability that your sd is formatted in fat-32 file system. For that i would like to say phone can only read FAT not FAT-32. Go to my computer, select sd drive properties and format it with FAT file system. Then load the files and you will be able to see it in your phone. If it works don't forget to vote here. go to menu>my stuff>select removable disc or memeory card then select options>format
>>or you can reformat the micro sd card using your pc
>>connect the sd card to the memeory card reader then connect it to the memory card adapter
>>go to my computer then select removable disc then right click then select format

SOURCE: sgh-m620 cannot read micro sd
i just had the same problem and I found out that the phone can only handle 2gb and below. I had a 4gb card and the phone would not read it but once i switched it to a 1 gb it came right up.

Unfortunately, the highest you can go with a Sync is a 2gb microSD card.
microSD is not the same as microSDHC and older phones will not read the newer microSDHC format.

SOURCE: SD Micro card- Formatting
your micro SD card may be damaged in some small way, or the card reader is a defect in it, to see which one it is,
****TRY TO BUY ANOTHER SD card, your phone can support up to a 2 GB micro SD card, if it persists, then *********** board in the phone has a defect.
