Question about Whirlpool Dishwashers
We did not use our washing machine for about 4 weeks, I am not sure if the machine stopped mid cycle due to a power failure when we were on holidays, green start light was flashing when we tried to use it, since then we have tired many things to get it back, drained the water, opened the back cover and removed the dirt from the exit hose..when we hold the start button down it resets but no water comes in. Please help
Is this a dishwasher or a clothes washer? Have you checked to make sure there is water flowing into the unit and someone has not shut off the valves to the water lines?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Check disposer plug. If a garbage disposer has been recently installed, it is possible the disposer drain plug was not removed. The drain plug is a plastic piece in the disposer that blocks the hole where the dishwasher hose connects. Also check the hose connected to the disposal. Mine apparently had a kink in it. When I straightened the hose the dishwasher drained at full speed (I recently had a plumber re-route a hot waterline. He must has bent the hose). Hope this helps. If not go to the GE website. That's where I found my answer.

There are a couple failures (major) that can cause these problems. A failed pump//motor is at teh top of the list.
It is past the point of simple, home repair and it is time to consider either a service call or replacement.

Hi. The above machine stops mid cycle and drain/fill light is on, also
error code F3E, have cleaned both hot and cold water inlet filters, also
checked drain pump and drain line, all ok. Machine drains with no
issues and fills with hot water, runs for a while then shuts down.
