It;s usually an orange feed roller assembly in printer that gets warm and causes toner to cure on paper it is most likely close to being worn as the printer keeps history of how old the fuser is by counting prints or you will start getting paper jams as the feed roller wears down.

Develop ineo 501, machine stopped, showing " have the fusing unit replaced soon, contact the service representative" -no error code. There is also "license management error occurs" but this promt was way...

that unit is manufactured my konica minolta. it is a Konica Minolta Bizhub 501 and will use the same fuser even though the image units, toners, and transfer belt have to be chipped for the ineo. There is a picofuse in the fusing harness that blows as soon as it is installed and that starts the fuser life counter. the counter is reset when a new fuser (or new fuse, if the fuser is still good) is installed. You will need to replace the fuser for the message to go away.

We are getting this message on the LCD panel of Hp laserjet 4345 MFP printer. The display shown an error 50.5 fuser I have replaced the fuser but same problem still come. I also turn off the printer for...

That error says that you have the wrong fuser in the printer.
Why did you change the previous fuser?
The part number should be RM1-1043-000CN.
If you installed the correct fuser, then you should be thinking about changing the DC Controller.

Changed power supply from 110v to 220v, now get 50.2 fuser error

The printer will have a 120v fuser, unkess that has been changed for a 220v fuser, it won't get up to temprature on 220v, hence the error message.

It needs a 220v fuser.

Low voltage power supply

What is the error message you are getting with the new fuser. Is this the same error you were getting before changing the fuser? If you changed the fuser because the old one was just at EOL ( end of life) but did not give you an error, have you tried to reinstall the old fuser.

It is possible that the new fuser was damaged in shipping, or not properly seated.

If both the new and old fuser give the same error message, then yes, I would agree that the LVPS would be the next part to replace, however, if they have different errors, then you probably have 2 bad fusers ( or one that is EOL, and one that was received damaged).

Before changing the LVPS, make sure you follow the steps below prior to the LVPS steps.
as far as where to purchase it if you do in fact need one, you can always do a google and ebay search for "Dell 5100cn LVPS".

I can provide you with replacement instructions if it comes to that.

See below for the actual troubleshooting needed for the fuser.
The following steps are the troubleshooting steps that should be followed for error code 010 397.
First, the definition of the failure is <IOT Fuser Failure>, and means a Fuser Error is detected.

1) With power off, reseat the fuser by physically removing it from the printer, then reinstalling it and locking it in place. Turn the power back on. ( if the error is still present, proceed to step 2 ).

2) If reseating the fuser did not resolve the problem, Replace the fuser with a known good fuser.
( if problem is not resolved, proceed to step 3)

3) Replace the LVPS ( low voltage power supply ). ( if problem not resolved, proceed to step 4 ).

4) Replace the PWBA MCU ( printed wiring board assembly - machine control unit ).

END of troubleshooting.........

50.2 fuser errer message

Hello, even i am having the same problem. I was looking online and found this stuff: step 1: Turn off the printer and switch it on after 20 mins. Step2. If the above step doesnt work then remove the fuser and replace it back again. Step3: if the above two stpes doesnt work and you still have that error message, then remove the fuser and check the impedance, if its below the required level(i dont know whats the required impedance is), then you have to change the fuser. I tried both step1 and 2, it still shows the error message, i guess i will have to change the fuser. Let me know if this helps Susheel
