SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Here's a link to this great service

Good luck!

GE Digital Messaging System ~ Voice/Time/Day stamp
1a] press and hold down STOP/set button and wait for promps.....
ie. press NEXT to change Day stamp and then SET to pick.
ie. press NEXT to change Hour and SET to pick.
ie. press NEXT to change Minute and SET to pick.
1b] press NEXT to pick 1minute allowance recording for recieving messages coming in, or 2 minutes or 3 minutes or 4 minutes. This machine only has 1/2 hour of recording time, so maybe you can 'tell' -record- that and let incoming callers know they have only minutes and machine will automatically shut off and cut them off [hang-up] on them.
2] press and hold down Greeting button and follow promps to change the answering machine voice promps to your own voice. Machine will automatically PLAY BACK your voice, if you don't like what you hear, press and hold down Greeting button again and try again.
~ hope all above helps.

Answering system

You may download a copy of the manual at http://cdn-media.vtechphones.com/ecp/documents/product_Product/110/UserManual/1202/cs6219_manual_i4.pdf

The CS6219 isn't an answering machine. If it indicates you have messages, then the messages are on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone or you don't answer at all. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

I have an answering machine AT&T 1715, but miss the cord power, could you please tell how many amps need and voltage too

Check the bottom of your answering machine. It should have the required power adapter listed. At least my answering machine had a nice clear label.

My 1337 AT&T answering machine uses the DAS-2 power adapter. This outputs 9V 780mA. Googling the adapter number I found that the Lucent 1715 also uses the DAS-2 adapter. (The Lucent is probably identical to the AT&T but check your machine.)

I found a used one here: http://cgi.ebay.com/LUCENT-TECHNOLOGIES-DAS-2-TELEPHONE-POWER-UNIT-9-VAC-/250730379907 . There may be other e-bay sellers with the item.

I hope this helps.

I solved the problem through trial and error. I held down the OGM button until a beep occurred, then I spoke into the machine, then I think I pressed Play. It took a few tries, but eventually the result was wholly satisfactory!
