Here's the problem, and I've been experiencing it for a long time. I have a pair of earbud headphones, I'll use them, and after a while, say 2-3 weeks, I'll only get sound out of one ear, and if i jiggle the jack a little bit it works, but only if I'm frozen in that position. I figured it was just a faulty pair of phones, but I bought several pairs and noticed the same thing, I mainly use headphones for my iPod. Also when I noticed the problem, I tried the headphones on different mediums, still the same thing. I don't think it could be my iPod since the headphones don't work on anything else. But I have a thought, when I'm done listening to my iPod, I turn it off, and vertically wrap the headphones around it, therefore pulling on, applying tension to the jack, could this be the source of my problem? I would really appreciate some help because I don't want to have to keep buying headphones every two weeks!

Go on eBay and buy a new audio jack.
I had the same issue. Gradually it became worse and worse (on the sound cutting out more frequently out of one ear or being really silent at best) and I replaced the audio jack by buying a new one on eBay. Or if you are not the do-it-your-selfer and you got money, bring it to an iPod store that preforms repairs. When you order it on ebay, if it is really cheap, it usually ships from China or something and it might take a couple weeks. But saves you some bucks!

You could ask direct. Link at the bottom. Normally, you just switch them on and then set your phone to search and then when found you click on it and then PAIR. If it asks for a code the default is 0000 (4 x zeros)

The words "red and blue lights", "paired", "connect" and "beeps" make me believe that your headphones are Bluetooth-enabled. However, I never heard of a TV that is Bluetooth-enabled. Therefore, I do not think that you will be able to pair, nor connect your headphones to your TV. If you want to listen to your TV wirelessly, you will have to use regular (not Bluetooth) wireless headphones, which consist of two pieces: the headphones and a transmitter that connects to the audio output(s) of your TV and transmits the sound from your TV to the headphones wirelessly.
Probably can't. What typically happens is that the base of the wire gets stressed from wrapping the cord around you media player and it eventually breaks the copper wire inside of the insulation. You likely can not even see the damage, let alone repair it. Be more carefull with the next set, and might I recommend a set of AKG ear buds. I use AKG studio headphones and bought my little sister some AKG ear buds, very impressive quality very close to my studio headphones. AKG K 313
could be caused by the way you wrap them up the cords should never be wound tightly it causes a short and it just so happens that earphones are made of light weight wiring to make them seem to disapear when wearing them so what to do is instead of winding them when your done simply fold them loosely so to speak
Well, I had the same problem with the right earbud. Luckily I was under warranty with Target, so they told me to contact Bose. I did and they had me send in the headphones (to make sure I waas telling the truth) and about 2 weeks later I got my earbuds back. Their customer service is excellent, so that's what I would reccomend
I have this problem all the time with my JVC earbuds. This may sound a little gross but it will work. I put the ear phone in my mouth and **** on the end of it pretty hard. What I have found is that sweat or even wax will plug the little hole and prevent the sound from coming out.
