SOURCE: Aircon condensation

Hi, If you are in the cooling posistion, you need to check the filter on this unit as when they get plugged up it will cause the evaporator coil to ice up and condensation to overflow down the front of the indoor unit. This is where the filter should be located behind the front cover. You may have to brush dirt from the coil carefully, and try and flush the drain for the condensation to run out the line or hose. This should take care of the ice problem. If you are in the heat season, let me know and we will go from there. Just look me up.
Sincerely, Shastalaker7
PS The filter may be foam. If so, just wash it out and ring it out. This will clean it.

I have a GrandAire and the aircon works fine; when I turned the heat on, it seems to work fine (warms the house), but the fan in the outside unit is not spinning when the heat is on...is this a problem?...

I think your unit is working in good condition. If you keep in cool mode the out door fan runs to condensate the heat in condenser by taking fresh air from the ambient. And when you keep heat mode, definitely the ambient temp will be too less.I fit takes from their then compressor will get frozting and it couldn't work properly. Depending on pressure increase, the fan will automatically run and stop. Don't worry. Thanks.

your color calibration may be off. see if you can set the red green and blue settings all to "0" and see if that works. may want to refer to your manual and see how you can do that and also see if there is a auto calibration

Panasonic Inverter aircon E24DKR icing up inside unit

Yes, if the filters are clean, the coils are clean, and it is still freezing up in cooling mode, then it is low on refridgerant.

Use the spell check and please restate your issue. Have you checked your air filter? Has the unit been serviced recently?

My window air is leaking on the inside of my house

usually because the drain hole/duct/tube, on the outside is blocked, or the aircon is mounted leaning Into the house, condesate that is supposed to drip into the outer casing and run out the hole is funneled over the lowest point of the casing, the house side.
check and unblock the drain,
and ensure the aircon is mounted tilted back.

I bought a house with one already installed. Found that it isn't switching from 'hot' to 'cold' After time the unit will beep and flash LED's on the unit itself and then switch off. Rather handy on 40 degree days. Good luck sourcing parts for the unit as the company have gone bust. I do know an honest working fellow that installs units - he suggests that Kelvernator are a no go, Mitsubishi, Panasonic are the ones to look at. Pay the extra cash for a brand name, they're less likely to go bust for a start, and if there is a problem, parts are readily available.
