Can't eject disc

if you don't see a hole for the emergency eject even after you open the door, you may have to go online and download the driver to be reinstalled.

Hi anderswang92
It depends on your OS'es version . The fdriver doesn't run anymore under the most recent Mac and Windows versions .

My radio/CD player constantly says "ERR" and CD's won't play anymore. It doesn't show the time or the radio station either, just "ERR". I can hear it, like it's trying...

HI lisasmith566 IT is not a fuse problem .
the problem is your the CD part of the radio
must likely the cd is stock or more likely the cd drive motor is defective .
FIRST try pushing eject on radio and see CD comes out if not you need a new radio .

good luck vote

Hi! I inserted a burned dvd r into my Mac but it's not reading it. The message You've inserted a blank CD pops out. I tried using a PC but it can't open it either, it says there's an error...

there are a few reasons why

1.) the formatting of the disk may be formatter for a PC and NOT a MAC
2.) after burning, this dvd was never "closed"
3.) You burned a coaster

good luck

Hi- I've just inserted a CD into my MacBook Pro

CD Stuck in Device
First try the normal methods to remove the disc. Drag its icon to the Trash can in the Dock or select 'Eject' from the File menu. If you are running a virtual machine, e.g. VMFusion, ensure that the CD is disconnected from the virtual machine. This will sometimes allow the CD to now show up in Mac OS X. Shut down the computer and start up whilst holding down the mouse button. This may take some time, but keep your finger on the mouse button right up until the disc comes out or the log-in screen has appeared. If you have Toast Titanium installed on your computer, choose EJECT DISC from the menubar. Sometimes you can successfully use the eject disc button in iTunes even if the disc is not visible to the Finder Open Disk Utility and choose the disc you wish to eject in the left-hand pane, then click on the Eject button. Some Macintoshes have a paperclip hole that you can insert a straightened paperclip into, manually triggering the eject mechanism. Open Terminal and type "drutil tray eject" to eject the disc/tray, and "drutil tray close" to close the tray. Restart the computer while holding down Command-Option-O-F, to enter the Open Firmware prompt. Type "eject cd" without the quotes, and press return. The disk ought to eject. To start into OS X, type "mac-boot" without the quotes. Press return, and the computer will continue with the startup. (This will not work on an Intel Mac. There is no Open Firmware on Intel Macs. ) If your computer has an eject button on the keyboard, restart the computer holding down the Option key. When the startup disk selection screen appears, let go of the option key and press the keyboard's eject button.

I am trying to upload a game on my computer but the computer is not even regestering the fact that I've put a disc in. I then inserted a Cd and nothing happened. Not sure what to do?

Try manually looking at the CD by going to the "My Computer" icon, and double-clicking the CD. If you see any files in there called setup.exe, double-click and go. It should startup. If the computer tells you that it can't read the cd, or to insert a cd, then it's possibly it's not the right format for your computer. Either it's a dvd that you can't read, or maybe it's the mac version and you hace a PC, or vice-versa?
