Washer will not advane from wash to rinse

It sounds like, when the dial gets to the pump stage, the contact expected to pump the water out isn't making contact. That could be a burnt contact within the controller, or a loose wire to to the pump from that section of the controller. Once the weight, or water level was low enough from your pumping it out, the sensor that checks the level/pressure allowed the spin. The problem could be on the control board too.

Here's an incomplete schematic I found:

The back bellow clamp got detached i have put the front clamp on before but never the back clamp how do i put it back on.

Take the front spring off that secures the front of the bellow to the front panel. (now the bellow should be fully unattached.

Next there is a metal clamp that holds the bellow to the tub it should have a 5/16 hex head (unsure of exact size) where when this hex head is turned clockwise it will tighten the clamp. Working through the door opening you what insure the bellow is positioned correctly and that the screw should be at about the 2 O'Clock position. Tighten very snugly, then reattach the front of the bellow back to the front panel.

Test for leaks... And make sure you are checking on it during your first couple of loads to insure that it doesn't come loose again.

P.S. you may also want to talk the lower kick panel off or look between the front panel and tub to ensure that no clothes fell into the washer when the bellow came loose.

Best of luck.

Amana NFW7200TW washer - door seal ring has detached

The ring is a clamp that keeps the rubber part, called the bellow, attached to the front panel of the washer. To reinstall hook the edge of the bellow around the lip of the opening in the front panel (the hole through which you put your laundry). Then take the clamp and seat it in the groove of the bellow behind the lip of the front panel. The spring on the clamp should pull the bellow tight to the opening of the panel.

HOW TO INSTALL WHIRLPOOL DUET WASHER CLAMP (FRONT

Follow these steps:

1. Install the door bellow back over the frame of the door opening ensuring it fits snugly all the way around the perimeter of the opening.

2. Beginning at the top of the door, start inserting the wire hoop back into the rubber fold of the bellow. Make sure the wire spring points towards the 6 o'clock position.

3. While maintaining some constant downward pressure, work your way around the door to the 4 and 8 o'clock positions.

4. Pull the spring apart in order to snap it back into place.

NOTE: It may be advisable to use a second set of hands to hold the wire hoop in place while doing this if it has the tendency to want to come out of the groove.

If you have questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

NOTE: If you are experiencing problems with the bellow clamp coming loose, this is commonly caused by items getting caught in the bellow during the wash cycle. Over-stuffing the washer can contribute to this, which can also cause premature wear on the bellow.

How to reinstall rubber ring between door frame and washer tub on a whirlpool duet washer

The rubber ring is called the "bellow". The following link explains the steps necessary to install one:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r385211-replacing_door_bellow_whirlpool_duet

Make sure you inspect the bellow to ensure it has no leaks or tears, first. Re-installing a damaged bellow will only result in a leaky washer.

If its only the front bellow clamp that needs to be re-installed, skip down to step 12. If the rear clamp has come loose where it attaches to the front of the wash tub, then you will have to follow all the steps that require you to remove the front panel. It may sound intimidating, but its an easy repair if you follow the steps provided.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Whirlpool duet washer leaking water

If the washer is leaking around the door area, more than likely the bellow (rubber seal) is ripped or torn. If you pull back the rubber folds in the bellow and inspect, you may find a rip or tear causing your leak.

Another cause can be the rear bellow clamp (clamp that is affixed to the front of the wash tub) can come loose causing a leak between the bellow and tub. All you may have to do is tighten the clamp if this is the case.

The dispenser tube on the left hand side of the door, if not seated through the rubber correctly, can also leak during the fill or rinse cycles. The tube should be inserted through the rubber in the bellow to the flange on the tube. If not, water can fill behind the rubber and drip into the bottom washer casing.

The following link explains how to access and/or replace the the door bellow on a Whirpool Duet:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r385210-replacing_door_bellow_kenmore_elite

Searspartsdirect.com, appliancepartspros.com, pcappliancerepair.com and repairclinic.com carry the bellow. All these sites offer competitive pricing, so shop all of them for the best deal.

If you have any questions, or require addtional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you. NOTE: The bellow can also become mishapened over time after frequent use. This can also cause leaks around the door. Look to make sure the bellow is sealing around the door glass. If not, it should also be repalced.

NFW7200TW washer won't engage spin cycle

We had the same problem with the same model machine and solved it.

Our machine was a month old and started getting stuck at minute 8, so we arranged service calls through Amana customer service. Long story short, the first three service reps couldn't figure out the problem. Two of them called Amana's in-house tech support line and the Amana techs didn't know what the problem was. The fourth repairman was smarter than his predecessors. He called the Amana in-house tech line, spoke to a rep who didn't know what was wrong, and then called in again. He explained that. based on his experience, some in-house techs knew more than others. That turned out to be the case because on his next call-in to Amana, that rep knew exactly what the problem was and recommended replacing the main computer board module. The repair guy ordered and installed the part. The machine has been working perfectly for a month.
