I would go to Ereplacementparts.com and type in your exact model number (there are about 5 saws) and they you can download a schematic of your tool. Hope this helps.

You can get the manual on the link below. on page 13 will tell tell you how to change blade.

Most often the entire motor doesn't go bad. It would be a componen't like armature, field, brushes, Switch. I very seldomly see a whole motor go bad. look for a single problem. The saw is not junk it is very repairable with some testing of parts.
