Question about Computers & Internet
Made by who Paul?
Also, do you know how to PROPERLY discharge capacitors?
See the hazardous electrocution markings on the outside of the monitor case?
They are FOR REAL.
Capacitors inside can store a charge for weeks, months, sometimes over a year, (Actually a LOT of times); after the unit is unplugged from power.
Your fingers touch the terminals on the bottom of a capacitor, the stored charge can be released to YOU!
Your fingers complete a circuit that one, or more capacitors are in; the charge can be released to YOU!
The shock is BAD to FATAL!
Now you can see my reluctance in giving disassembly instructions for a monitor.
