I have my audible books on audible manager, and I choose to play them in windows media player. Do I change the audible book which is an aa extension to to another extension in audible manager or do I need to download it to a folder and then change it? What extension would I change it to?

Thank you for getting back with me. I went and registered my MP600 again, but under my name and not my husbands and recieved my same code that I had the first time. And in the afternoon is when I received my code. I also found out what had happened my first time when I accidently had deleted everything when I opened the manual on line. I am still having a problem to simplify everything but at least I downloaded the manual.So far I am doing okay. And I did got my Media Manager on my computer.Was never so happy when it is comming together.Hope this helps someone else who has the same problem. But thankyou for trying to solve my delima.

The Windows version of the software should be on the MP3 player unless someone deleted the file. With the MP3 player connected to the computer, double left-click on the Computer icon (alternatively click Start > Computer), then go to the removable media section. Double-click on the MP3 player itself (to open the folder). Then right click on the file "coby-cometlite" and choose Run as Administrator. (double-clicking will probably also work but the Windows security issues may be affecting your install.)
The manual for the Coby MP601 is available here: http://www.cobyusa.com/files/manuals/MP601_MN.pdf . However, no software is available at the coby site.
