Question about HTC Vivid
Yes, but only if you've installed recovry into your phone.
if you did installed recovery, then pull off your battery press power+volume down button for about 5 seconds and then wait 10 seconds then after press volume down for 2 times.
connect your phone to computer
then wait for 10 seconds and press power up button for 1 time.
now press power up button for 3 times.
and then power up for around 5-7 times until you get prompt in your computer that you've connected mass storage.
if you just want to do this simply even without having recovery try to connect phone and then slide down and press exact area where you get "Connect USB" on your phone.
keep guessing till you succeed.

This is because your Touch Pro is not a Mass Storage device. You have to actually take out the memory card and put the memory card into the Memory Card Adapter and place the adapter into your computer in the memory card slot. You then have to label folders for MUSIC, VIDEO, IMAGES, and DOCUMENTS and then place the files in the corresponding folders. It will make that noise because a USB device is being connected. This device can be used as a modem which is why your computer recognizes it.

The simplest way is to use Active Sync.
Otherwise the long and difficult way would to use your file explorer and copy them one at a time.

SOURCE: htc phone saying memory full.
Make sure your sd card is not corrupt. It should auto save to your sd card. You will probably want a card that is at least 2gb. Go into settings, sd card and phone storage, and make sure unmount sd card is brightest. This means that your card is in and recognized. At the bottom of that screen, you should see internal phone storage, here it will tell you how much memory is free outside of the sd card. You will want this to have at least 100mb free so that the phone can operate at is smoothest.
