Question about Televison & Video
I am having trouble locating a service manual for the Curtis Mathis model CM 32020s television. I know this set was sold with the CM name by K-mart. It has a Samsung flyback/chasis. No longer suppported by K-mart or current CM contact mfr around 2001. Any help and info on the above mentioned model would be great.
The main problem that I am having, is that when the television is turned on, all there is is a clicking sound. I have read a reply to one other posting you had answered on this and you refered that "This may be a power supply problem or a shorted horizontal output transistor shorted. The clicking sound is the power supply trying to start but can't because of the overload." So does this mean I am going to have to try and find a new power supply board and if so, any suggestions on where I might find parts for this television?
It does sound like you have a short on the power supply load. Most likely in the horizontal circuit. (Deflection board)
There is a company called PTS (Precision Tuner Service) that may be able to repair the circuit board.
You can look them up on the internet and call and ask them if they can repair this board. It is most likely the board that has the flyback on it. Have your model number and chassis number available when you call.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
