SOURCE: Lost picture

Sounds like you might be in "Air" mode and you want to change to "cable" mode. You are going to need to access the menu settings on the tv and change the cable input.

SOURCE: I have tried everything, I

No sound on ALL sources, DVD, VCR, ETC?

Let verify first to narrow down to where the problem can be. First, make sure the MUTE or SAP function is not activated, then check the on screen sound set up menu to make sure the speakers are not set to OFF. If the setting is OK, then attach the powered PC speakers to the Audio Line out RCA jacks (Red and White) to see if you can get the sound there, if you do, then the problem can be in the power amp circuits, if you do not get the sound at RCA jacks, then the problem can be in the sound processor circuit. If it needs shop repair, you can expect $150 and up repair bill.

The remote isn't working

A few things to try:
1) Make sure Batts. are in correctly.
2) check in all around the sides back and under the sound bar for a reset button.
3) Clean the IR emitter on the remote and the receiver on the bar. On the remote it will be a reddish plastic window or a small bulb looking thing on the front. The receiver may be harder to find. I suggest just giving the entire front of the sound bar a good cleaning. I have had remotes stop working because there was to much dust built up on the receiver. I have also found that my kids handled the remote with dirty fingers and had gotten peanut butter on the emitter! Good Luck!

You need to set the antenna input back to ANT A (1), you are ANT B (2) right now that why you are not seeing any signals.
Use the INPUT button on the remote to scroll through until you see ANT A which is the one your kid use for the cable connection,
You should download this user manual:

Let me know if it works.

Jvc 57 inch tv. kid did something to change picture size. now too large and bottom is cut off. aspect button on remote when pressed shows a red circle with a line through it.

Hello,

what was pressed on the remote is "Zoom" button, that's why the picture size is large.

So try to identify the Zoom button on your remote by pressing every button on your remote in order to get the zoom button function.

I hope you understand my message.

Good luck.

I locked my tv because of kids and now i dont remember the passcode

I can only assume that you are not the kids trying to get into the set.
You must have the original Mitsubishi remote control to perform this operation on the set. Look on the remote for a button that is labeled QV (Quick View), if you have this button on the remote then we can press on. Go to the selected channel or input that is asking for the unlock code. When it asks for the code, press the QV button: Holding it down press the number 9 and release. This will unlock the set for this instance. To remove the code I suggest that you go through the setup menu and find the code lock and when it asks for the code use the QV+9 trick again to turn it off from the main menu.

If you do not have the original Mitsubishi remote you will not be able to try this trick. You will have to order a replacement remote from 1-800-REMOTES or www.remotes.com.
Once you have the replacement remote you can unlock the television and be back on your way.
If you have any more quesitons please feel free to reply to this post.
I hope that this helps you with your television lock issues and as always, Thank you for using FixYa.

Remote control for gva hgg6830

I do not know who the primary manufacturer of GVA is but I can tell you who sells the brand. I provided a link to the web site. As far as universal remote go I don't think you will have much luck because GVA is what known as a house brand.
Hope this helps.

How to unlock my jensen tv

the tv should have buttons to change the input also. Or just hit channel up on the tv, that should do the same. That should do the trick if it is on the wrong input/channel. You could also try unplugging the tv for a minute. My tv goes back to channel 3 when unplugged.
