A webcam is first and foremost a camera that uses a lens to gather light reflected by an object. There are a number of reasons why the image captured by the webcam can be blurry, all of which can be remedied. Supplies from a photography store or hobby shop, along with items that most people already have in their homes, are needed. The webcam does not need to be disassembled in any way in order to obtain a sharp and clear image.

Launch the webcam's video program by selecting it from the "Start," and the "All Applications" menu. Aim the webcam towards you so that you can see the blurry image presented in the program's video window. Rotate the knurled focus ring that surrounds the lens at the front of the webcam until the image is sharp; if there is no focus ring, position the webcam closer or farther from you until the video image is sharp. Blow off the lens at the front of the webcam with compressed air. Moisten the end of a cotton swab in photo lens cleaning solution. Wipe the lens with the moistened end of the swab, beginning at the center and rotating in a circle until you reach the outer edge. Wipe the lens dry with a lens tissue in the same manner as was just done, to remove the contaminants that caused the blurry image. Launch the webcam video program that is on the hard drive. Select the "Advanced" or "Options" tab at the top of the program's main window -- depending on how the program is set up to bring up a settings window. Reset the "Sharpness" control to 65 percent of the total possible, using a slider control or entering "65" in a text field. Click the "Apply" button at the bottom of the window, followed by the "OK" button to sharpen the image transmitted by the webcam. Hope this helps.

Grand am 3.1 alternator keeps burning out replaced 7 times can anyone PLEASE HELP ME?

Usually they burn out quickly because they stay on all the time. Even with the vehicle off. Once the field is grounded, the alternator is on. The PCM is what grounds the field. You might want to have that checked out.

The inside refrigerator temperature display and water filter replacement percentage display are no longer working. Can I replace a fuse or do I need to call repairman?

Hello;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.

You did not provide a model number, which is located on the upper inside wall of your fresh food section. So, I can only be general.

There are small lights on the electrical control board. These lights burn out. The entire board has to be replace. You may check for loose connections or burned wires first.

A service call of this nature is about $400.00-$500.00.

Heater and aircon not working, loud rattling noise and smoke from vent, now not power to fan

It appears your fan itself burned out. When a field coil of an electrical fan burns out it usually makes a lot of smoke. The noise could be something that fell in there that stopped the fan from turning freely. I can imagine it heated up under the strain and burned out.

When you restarted it was burnt out so hence no noise and no fan.
The smell of the smoke should also be clue. Electrical field coils burning has an awful soury type of smell.

I dont know how to change the time on my decathlon geonaute watch

I nearly went crazy pushing buttons, but finally got the right combination. From the normal Time Display (as you would normally use the watch, no need to push any buttons) Push and Hold for a few seconds the Lap/Reset Button. The "Set" Mode will become active. Release the Lap/Reset button when Set appears in the Display. Notice in the Display a small Arrow that points to a button, either the ST/STP or Mode Button. (Initially it will be the ST/STP Button). When you depress the button to which the arrow points, the Field Flashing in the display will be set (For ST/STP) or Changed to the next Field (When the Arrow Points to the Mode Button). Simply toggle through the fields (using the Mode Button) and set (using the ST/STP Button) as needed. You will also be offered the ability to set the Month, Date, Day, 12/24 HR, and a M-D (It stands for Month - Date, in Europe it's more common to display as Date - Month). I did not change this field since by default on my watch it displayed M - D first. The setting cycle will be finished off when you have set the various fields by again pushing the Lap/Reset Button. Not related to setting the watch, but possibly useful, the Watch will completely reset if all the buttons are pushed at the same time, including pushing the Display Light (or in the case of this watch, the illumination used for the Display Characters). Hope this helps, it worked for me.

Your tv has a Screen Wipe feature that should help the burn in. I have provided a link to download the manual. On page 29 you will find instructions to start the screen wipe process. http://www.necdisplay.com/cms/documents/UserManuals/42VP4A_manual.pdf

Let me know how well this works so I can help others with the same issue. Please rate this solution. Lone99star

Display field

Not sure if the 2450 is compatible with the 2460, but here is a parts diagram that shows the display module, part #AP3854652, for $97.69 from AppliancePartsPros.com. I ordered replacement carbon brushes and a drain pump from them and have been happy with their service.
