SOURCE: How can I listen to audio from Techwood TV/DVD player through home stereo? I have connected a red&white stereo lead & selected aux on my stereo, but sound still just comes out from the TV. Any help is

Make sure that you are using the Audio Out ports (not one of the audio in). Next go into the menu. Select the Audio setup option and see if there is a line for enabling the external speakers. (Often this corresponds to turning off the internal speakers but not always.)

I hope this helps. I'm not familiar with the specs of Techwood TV models. Some TVs only have an headphone/earphone (3.5 mm) jack as their audio out. In that case, you'll need an adapter to convert the RCA audio to the headphone jack.

How to connect my pc to my tv?

Your computer is not designed to be connected to a TV. That being said, if you have an LCD TV that has a VGA display port, you could use the TV like it was a monitor by getting a VGA cable that has 2 male ends.
If you dont have this connection, you would need to buy a new video card that had support to send video (and sound if you want it) out to your TV via HDMI or Composite/component.
I happen to have this same computer sitting around and tried to get it connected to my TV, but it was far more of a pain than it was worth.

When I connect laptop to tv can only get audio no video

  • Hello capricorn54, when you connect any type of external "Monitor" or {TV} to your computer, the computer have to recognize that a "different" Display is attached! To "Display the (TV Monitor), do the following; (right click) on an empty area of the Desktop, in the next [window] select the "Personalize Icon." Choose from the "listings" Display Settings. Next, click on the Identify Monitor [button]. You need to select the (Number 2 Monitor), this will identify that other device is connected to the computer. This will acknowledge the device connected to the computer #2 Monitor [output] is a TV. Once you have completed all the steps; click on the "Apply and OK" buttons. "I hope that this information is helpful. thanks for using FixYa, paul70f9."

start-control panel-appearance and personalization-screen resolution...if that doesn't work i'm not sure what to tell you. I have used a LCD tv as my computer monitor and it took a little playing around to get mine to work. you can actually set it up as far as monitor 1 or 2 and have it so you see your computer screen and the tv screen. you can drag pages from your computer screen to the tv screen....kinda cool

Can I connect a Computer to a Techwood DDR 94 AV Digital Surround Receiver so that I can listen to radio stations online?

Yes. You can. First, you need a cable that has a stereo pin called stereo jack (the type that has on ear phones/head phones) on one end and component cable terminals (the type that comes with video/ audio left and right) on the other end. To further explain, these terminals come in yellow red and white colors. You only need the red and white ones. This is available at electronic stores. Otherwise a person who service electronic equipments can easily make one. Basically, this cable will have a stereo jack (small one) on one end and split into 2 cables with the red and white terminals. Once you have this cable, connect the stereo jack to the ear phone socket of your computer and connect the other end to the audio input of your Techwood receiver. You can select anyone (CD, DVD or TV). These inputs are right above the speaker wire connections. Be careful to connect to the socket that say "in" . Now, let us assume you have connected to the CD, select your source as CD on your techwood receiver. Play music on your computer and you should be able to hear the output through your Techwood receiver. Good luck

Connecting laptop to tv

1. If your tv has a PC input, use a vga cable, from any normal computer monitor.

2. If you use those HD connectors, match them to the correct colour coded inputs on the tv.

In each case, do all the connecting with the computer POWERED OFF. Then when connected, boot the computer, and allow Windows to auto-detect the 'new monitor', as it will 'see' it.

Then you shoud right click on your desktop, choose properties, and goto 'settings'. From there you will see monitors 1 and 2. click on the new monitor and 'enable' it.

You also have the option of 'extending' windows to the second monitor, as well as making this your 'default monitor'. Experiment to see what best suits your needs,
