Dacor Oven Won;t Heat (by 2 users)

I have a Dacor ECPS130 single oven. Last night we had a power outage and when the power came back on I got the F1 error code and it was beeping. After hitting cancel/secure a few times the beeping stopped. Now when I try to use the oven it goes into pre-bake but does not heat and then it turns off. I tried resetting the limit switch but that does not seem to do anything. Any ideas?

As it turned out we waited a couple of hours and tried the oven again and it worked just fine. I don't know if something needed to reset or what but it seems to be fine now.

I have the same problem: my newish Dacor oven will only do pre-bake (135 degrees) when I press either Convection Bake or regular Bake. The oven worked for over a year with no problems, and just rbegan this. There are no error messages; the orange letters under the current temp say "pre-bake on." We have NOT had any power outages.

Gurupower surges can short out the electonics in appliances. If you can locate where the tech sheet is and I would say its behind the control panel on top, look at the wiring diagram and see if there are any replaceable fuse's. Or a resetable fuse for the heating element. If not check to see if power is getting to the main control bord. If there is power there you may need to replace the control.
