Question about Sanyo R227 WiFi FM Radio
Area power failure. On/off a few times. Now radio will not power up. Unplugging does not help. Only repeated short bursts of static. No power to display. Is there a fuse inside?
I tested the power supply output voltages (on the small board with the transformer and capacitors on it) and found 0v at the 5v terminals, and 3v at the 12v terminals. I have asked my son, who owns a computer repair biz, to find a suitable new power supply.

I had the same problem. A defective capacitor is trying to charge near the audio chip .
My solution : I have remove the audio chip (the one with big heat sink) and I use the aux out output to my amplifier.
When plugging it takes some time to finally work : but once plug and working it stays on and work ok.
