They usually buy the house contents or charge to clear it, they then sell it on in second hand shops. Stuff they don't want goes to the tip.Only a good profit if you find some good stuff to sell, as these sales usually take place when someone has died, I suspect that the relatives take any items worth having or give them to charity shops. Danger is you end up with a shop full of second hand goods that no one wants, It must be hard to compete against charity shop prices. How to replace electronic control touchpad (overlay)

Hi William Sullivan - Typically this type of information is not release to someone who is not a technician and it is very rare to find enough information to do it yourself. In most cases this information can be found on the internet; however it is not provided directly from the manufacturer. Usually this is something that you want a certified professional to install/remove for you due to safety and liability reasons. They also usually warranty their labor just in case something else may turn out to be the root cause of your initial problem and it does work out better to your advantage. Consider contacting your manufacturer for more details on who in your area may guide you through this process.

I have recently moved into a new house and can't get the oven to work. I was hoping to get a manual for the wall oven and see if this information will solve my problem. It is a 1993 model EVBS3193...

So you have moved to a new house. I am assumeing that the Oven worked fine at the old house. I am also assumeing that you have plugged the Oven into your new house and that is when you noticed that it was not working.

If this is the case then the problem may be that the Breaker in the Electrical Sevice Panel of the new house is off. You need to reset the breaker and the Oven should then work.

I just bought a maytag 24 inch double is 240 volt and i need to know if i need to put a 3 wire or 4 wire for the power

I trust that your voltage system in your house is 240 volt. The number of wires or the size of the wiring will depend purely on the kilowatt rating of the oven. Normally on a 240 volt system a 3 wire 32 amp circuit will generally be used on ovens/ranges up to at least 6.0 kilowatt. If you need more information please reply.

Oven won't heat

The heating element may be worn out or loose. Are both the broil (upper) and bake (lower elements) failing to heat? If so, you will probably need to call a professional. If only one of the elements is failing to heat, it will need to be replaced. This is usually a simple matter of tugging firmly on the element and it will slip out of its housing. Once you purchase a replacement element you just plug in back into the housing. You can buy the elements at appliance parts stores. I would suggest calling an appliance parts store and asking them IF you can remove the element yourself. If they know they're about to make a sale, they don't mind giving you the information.

Hi, what is the reccomended installation clearance required around the c3 oven? thanks for your help, Dean

the only recommendation for clearance given by turbochef is there must be at least a 2 inch gap between the top of the oven and any shelf or work surface above it,
however experience tells me that you shoul have at least 4 - 6 inches of clearance all around to ensure sufficient coolin airflow if there is not sufficient airflow the oven will suffer from overheating with EC overtemp error messages being displayed, you should also bear in mind the requirement for clear access for the service technician should a problem arise

Oven/Hood clearance

Minimum 30" from cooking surface is general guideline, check with your installation instructions, for liability and insurance purposes, if you do not, and something happens, you may not be covered. Follow specifications

Finding parts for La Germania- Explorer Oven

The distributor for LaGermania in North America has gone out of business. However, parts can be ordered directly from the manufacturer in Italy. A contact that worked is:
Daniel Pedrazzini
Customer Support
phone +39 0522 226415
fax +39 0522 226440
Note that shipping will be expensive, but it is still much less than buying a new stove.

Also, I have found a model sold in Australia that is very similar in features to the models that were sold here, with the exception that they don't have a separate burner lighting button. Here's a link:
