Question about Samsung HT-BD7200 Theater System

1 Answer

Bd7200 shuts down from loud vibrating scenes

Whenever an action packed blu-ray scene emerges, the player shuts down. Must turn on, fast forward, and select scene search. Am forced to view movies at painfully diminished volume.

SOURCE: Blu-Ray disc does not play.

You need a software upgrade. If your blu-ray is lan connected you can upgrade from the blu-ray, just follow the menu. If you have no internet connection, use your PC. On the manufacturers web site find your model and download a firmware update to cd, then play this in your blu-ray, follow the on screen menu. Good luck

You have several ways to do this. You can hdmi cables from the two units and plug them into your tv if it supports hdmi and run the audio out portion on the back of the tv and hook that into one of the audion inputs on the surround unit. Or you run audio directly out of the bluray using rca, digital coax, or digital optical cable. Turn the surround reciever to the corresponding input that you choose to use.

SOURCE: Samsung blu-ray player won't eject, tried turning off power strip

I had a similar problem with my unit. every time i hit "eject" the screen would display "eject" for about a minute then display "loading" indefinitely. no mater how many times i powered on or off it just would not spit out my disc. However, I hit the "function" button on the player and cycled through radio, aux. etc. and that seemed to un-freeze it. I was able to eject my DVD while the player was set to radio. give it a try and hope for the best.

SOURCE: My Samsung HT-BD7200 will not play blu-ray discs.

Hi there, this is a classic sign of the blu ray diode in the player becoming faulty. As with all blu ray players the technology is basically the same and the symptoms you describe are identical to all other blu ray drives. There is a small chance that you may be able to get the blu ray diode replaced but this can be costly so you need to weigh up whether or not this would be economical to do over buying a new system. There is a chance that a lens cleaner disc may remove any dirt that may have accumulated on the lens but it does not usually work due to the high cleanliness of the internals of the drive.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Thank you for using FixYa

Set AVL [Automatic Volume Leveler] function with DVD player; set to 'ON'. Refer its user manual to get more details about this adjustment. The procedure will be different for model to model.

The upcoming 'Fast Five' Blu-Ray/DVD on October 4

As a movie fan, I have paid attention to the latest movies for long, especially for some action movies. Fortunately, there is an grand action movie called FAST FIVE coming soon, more surprise for me is that it will be released on blu ray dvd. How cool it is!<br /><br />The general details of fast five<br /><br />Fast Five (alternatively known as Fast & Furious 5 or Fast & Furious 5: Rio Heist) is a 2011 action film written by Chris Morgan and directed by Justin Lin and the fifth installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise. The film stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster and Dwayne Johnson and was first released in Australia on April 20, 2011 followed by a United States release on April 29, 2011. Fast Five follows Brian O'Conner (Walker), Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and Mia Toretto (Brewster) as they plan a heist to steal $100 million from corrupt businessman Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida) while being pursued for arrest by U.S. DSS agent Luke Hobbs (Johnson).<br /><br />Fast Five will eventually hit Blu-Ray and DVD on October 4. Purchasing the DVD or Blu-Ray will yield the same basic features, including biopics on Brian O'Connor and Dom's characters, a gag reel, deleted scenes, commentary from director Justin Lin, and an "Enter Federal Agent Hobbs" featurette. Both releases will come as combo packs, with a digital copy, as well. However, the similarities end here. That's because the Blu-Ray combo pack will come with an extended edition of the film, and that app I keep alluding to. If you are not a blu ray dvd owner, all you need to do is just to copy blu ray to your computer and then you can enjoy it with your families as well. Considered by many to be the best of the Fast and Furious movies, this installment really ups the excitement with original headliners Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, second-episode star Tyrese Gibson, and series newcomer Dwayne Johnson. Community director Justin Lin directs his third piece of the franchise with a crystal, stellar eye.

I have the LG BD390. I have had this blue ray for sometime and never had a problem with playing blue ray movies. I just bought the new Iron Man II blue ray movie. The movie stops playing at the same...

I had the exact same problem with my BD390 and another LG home theater system, both with the current firmware updates. I noticed others have posted this issue on various sites as well. I called LG and the guy I spoke with seems to have been coached pretty well on the scenes where this problem is occuring since he could sight the exact scenes that were giving me the problem. He claimed the blu ray probably isn't exactly 1080i or 1080p and that the player is probably having problems processing the resolution so I should lower it to 720p. This didn't fix the problem and didn't help explain why my blu ray player which plays plenty of other high resolution movies only has a problem with this movie. I think a firmware update is needed to fix the issue but I'm not holding my breath that LG will be proactive in getting that out soon.

What you are describing is 'Last Scene Memory' function which is a feature of most DVD players. The player will not memorise the last scene if you switch of the player before playing the disc. This should Fixya!

Please remember to rate this solution.
