Decor craftmaster manual needed

5018 Decor Excel · 5024 Decor Excel II · 5124 Decor Excel Pro are retired machines, all Decor machines. This is the only machine. You might try the following page's search box as it relates to the retired series. Without a model number, it will prove difficult to search for the manual at the site or elsewhere on the internet.

Where do I get a power cord for a euro-pro mod l 9130C

When buying such power adapters, you typically need to watch for:
  1. DC voltage - in this case 19V. This needs to be the same.
  2. DC amp rating - since your adapter is rated at 6.32A, you need a replacement that is rated at a minimum of 6.32A, but there's no harm in going higher. Your device will only draw what it needs.
  3. DC plug polarity. Most are center positive, as is yours.
  4. DC plug size. This is defined by inner and outer diameter. In your case, it's 5.5mmx2.5mm
  5. Input voltage. You haven't mentioned your region, but it's a good idea to get international power adapters that accept 100-240V.
You've stated that you prefer to use the existing power cord, but this is an unnecessary constraint - it's better to use the power cord that comes with the replacement adapter

These computerised machines have a minimum of moving metal parts and many gears are nylon. In the manual it may tell you to brush out the rotary hook/bobbin holder area only. This is important, do it regularly to keep the bobbin area clean.

However, it probably also says to have the machine serviced by an authorised technician annually. He will then lubricate internally and top up any wicks within the machine.

There may be a wick in the middle of the bobbin holder, it will look like a bit of fluff down a hole. You could give this a drop of oil, along with any parts you can see where metal moves over metal, use clear high quality sewing machine oil. Perhaps every 3 months or so, but brushing out all lint is very imporant.

1967 Elna Star series Supermatic

i have an elna model 62C supermatic purchased in 1972. on yours, do you mean the motor won't run at all? or does the electronic foot not cause a response to sew? after 30 years, in 2002, my electronic foot quit working. i opted to purchase the internal electronic module, and replaced it into the original housing (did it myself). the two weak spots in an otherwise amazing machine are the two plastic gears--rotary hook gear which works your bobbin, and the camshaft stack gear which works cams/zigzag/etc. i have replaced both in the last 5 years (again, did it with my husband's help). i'd say the Elna is pretty awesome sewing machine with the couple of million hours i've used it (no exaggeration!) and the minimum of repairs it has needed. an excellent source of parts is parts are reasonable, and authentic. Raymond White is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. good luck. jeannie
