Diamondback tess 24 has clicking in gears and is hard to shift

sounds like the derailleur cable is stretched out and needs to be adjust. search here or google on how to adjust a derailleur, or take to your local bike shop, it's a cheap repair.

How much does a Diamondback women's vital 2 bike weigh?

The weight for that bike is listed as 31.6 pounds according to the following website:

http://www.buzzillions.com/reviews/women-diamondback-vital-2-lx-reviews

Look under the SPECS tabs at the bottom of the list.

I'm not sure if that weight was for the Small (15") size frame or the Medium (17") but they will both be very similar anyway.

Hope this helps.

How do I operate the gear shifters on a diamondback sorrento?

Here's a great article on that subject. The article covers virtually any multi-speed bike, including yours. One thing the article leaves out is that in order to shift, the chain must be moving, which means that you must be pedaling. But it works best if you are pedaling very lightly.

I have a grinding noise coming from the pedal assm. It's not the pedals themselves but the area in the frame. What's the fix and what tools do I need? It's a Diamondback Wildwood 2002.

where the two pedals meet in the middle there is a bearing and when the bearing fills with dirt it make the grinding noise you can take it out clean and grease but if it is a packed bearing you will have to get a new one
