There is normally a grub screw which shows the back of the tap? or a name on the front of the tap, once you find this you need to use the theroy hot on the left cold on the right, thats once you have decided front and back.

Washer don't get the cold water only the hot cold water won't enter and the hot enter extremelly hot

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
(this covers both hot and cold but please read for cold! Your hot water supply provides the extremely hot water and is normally mixed with cold in the washer for the correct temperature.)

If you have checked that the hot and cold water taps are turned on fully and the hoses are not kinked or squashed at the back, it is worth while checking both the hot and cold water inlet filters. Turn the taps off and remove both hoses at the washer end. Inside each inlet port there is normally a little filter which should just slide out. Clean if necessary and replace each one and the hoses. If after turning the taps back on there is no improvement, the problem is symptomatic of a malfunctioning hot or cold water control valve. Sorry but it needs a service call and a check that it isn't the control PCB ;-0(

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck,
John C

I need to wash the colors in cold water ONLY but when I set the washer on cold, it still washes clothes with warm/hot water for part of the cycle, causing the colors to bleed. How do I need to set it up...

G'day, simple solutions is to swop your hoses at the back around, you can do this at the taps... If you only have one hose going into machine, you need to make sure the hose is on the cold water. Some new machines heat water internally, hence they don't need hot water going in at all. Sounds like you are putting hot water only into your machine. If you only have a hot water tap in your laundry for washing machine, this cold be a problem as the machines don't cool down the water. If this is the case you might have to look at other plumbing solutions... Hope this helps, let us know how u get on

Broken water line or water heater, from winter freeze. When water is turned on tap water goes under the bunk bed area. Could this be the water heater or a hose in the area. We don't know the layout...

Depends on which tap you're turning ON. If it's cold water tap, it's probably a water line. If it's the hot water tap, it could also be a line. As heaters leak, whether the water tap is ON or NOT. Opening a tap valve doesn't cause the water heater to leak. The main question is, was the water heater's tank drained, before the Winter Freeze, when no one was using it? If it wasn't, there's a good chance the water heater will leak too

Hope this helps you solve the leaking water pipes problem. Please let me know Thanks.

Blanco Eye Kitchen tap cold water is leaking from tap[ WHEN TURNED OFF. I have remove the allen screw that secures the the cold lever but I cannot remove the leaver

Hello doy.. get a can of WD-40 penetrating lubricant and spray it on the seam connecting the lever and the body. It will penetrate within an hour or so. Repeat if necessary.

Also use a plastic head or a rubber head hammer to tap it up.

We have a Blanco opera 6000 mixer tap and have lost the plastic inserts at the tap outlet that mixes the hot and cold. Can you advise where we can get spares?

I would contact them from this website http://www.blancoamerica.com/index.html?p=CONTACT_US and request a special order direct from the wear house. You could possibly get it for free depending how long you have owned it.

How to replace cartridge on blanco single handle

Somewhere around where the handle fixes to the tap should be a grubscrew of some kind undoing this will allow the handle to be removed this will give you access to the cartridge which can then be removed with the correct socket, obviously you will need to turn off the water supply to the tap first!!
