Go to the following website ..
and download the unknown devices file.(UKD). Unzip it and then run it, this will tell you the name of the device that you are looking for, if it doesn't look under Computer missing names. That is where I found out that I had an Intel pro/wireless 2200BG installed. It willalso give you the names of anything else you don't have a driver for. The rest was easy, went to Intel and downloaded the correct driver and installed it. but scan a virus from you'r system/laptop .
Thankyou !

Regards .

SOURCE: wireless network not working . network controler

i recommend uninstalling all wireless network adapters from Control Panel, System, under Network Adapters, right click on the adapter, and click uninstall, This should reinstall your drivers to a working state. Also, check msconfig by going to Start, run and enter msconfig.

Make sure Normal Startup is selected, and than restart your PC.

I want to enable the wireless capabilities on this computer..... what do I do?

Good day, if your using a laptop you can do this steps to enable your wireless

1. Make sure the wireless switch is on for your laptop. Usually it located on the upper part or side of your keyboard

2. Make sure that the laptop has a wireless network adapter
>Go to Start and click on Control Panel
Click on Hardware and Sound in Control Panel window. Note: If your Control Panel is in Classic View, you can just double click the Device Manager.
>In Hardware and Sound window, click on Device Manager to open it.
>The Device Manager will appear, then locate and expand Network adapters and right click
the network or wireless adapter you want to check, finally click on Properties
The network or wireless adapter properties window will appear, your driver is working well if it
shows This device is working properly under General tab.
3. If your device does not work well, click on Driver tab to check driver details, update driver, disable
driver or uninstall driver.

For you desktop it should be the same.

4. Next is to connect to any available wireless network on your location to check if you can connect

Reminders: if you don't see any adapter it's either you dont have it ( specially for desktops ) or you need to have the driver reinstalled for it to work.

Hope this help you in your problem on how to enable wireless for your computer. Have a great day and God bless

I have a665-3daf model wireless turnoff for all i cant make it on by functionkey Fn+F8 didint worked

check if your computer has a hardware switch.
it might look like a latch on the sides, front or back edges of your computer.

if no hardware switches are present:
go to control panel then network/sharing then change adapter settings or network adapters depending on your operating system.
make sure the wireless is not disabled. if it isn't disabled, go ahead and right click on my computer.
go to device manager.
go to your wireless card
hit uninstall driver.(make sure you DO NOT CHECK the delete driver box)
restart the computer and it will reinstall the driver
