SOURCE: dlink dir-615 won't power up. I think maybe it

Have you checked the power supply to see if it is supplying the rated voltage to the plug that plugs into the router. It should be somewhere around 5 - 15 VDC. That's a great place to start. If you have voltage there then repair of the router will require someone with knowledge of testing ICs and soldering.

SOURCE: dir-300 dlink router asking to reset to factory after installatio

there's an easy way to reset your router back to its factory setting... inspect the physical appearance of your router... there should be s small hole.... inside that small hole is a reset button

How to reset? ..... while the router is on...Using a small pointing object, much better if you use a paper clip..... insert the paper clip to the hole... press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds...

That's it your router will restart itself and the settings is back to its factory settings...

Hope that help you..
Much appreciated if you rate this help... thanks

Well it may be due to some problem so
check your router and modem.
check your router setting according to your ISP.

Try to update your Firmware.

If still not working than reset your router and configure again. if all of this will not work than contact to http://support.dlink.com/index.aspx

Did you enter the security key (password)? It may be your laptop? Try resetting the D-Link to default settings and connecting to the laptop. They reconfigure the SSID and Security Key.
