Question about Garmin nuvi 260W GPS Receiver
Hi, I have to use my gps in a different vehicle and I can't find a angled adaptor for it to fit because of the weird shaped ashtray. It will not take the straight plug so I ended up with a charger for the house. I want to know how long it will last for a charge. Does it have to be plugged in or just have a charge? Or can I just turn it on 3/4 into my trip will it recalculate? Help Thanks Lisa
First, get a new charge for your car. You're screwed without it.
A full charge should last for 2 hours if batteries an decent.
It does not have to be plugged in and you could turn on while on your trip.
Lisa, your 260 is a great unit. Get the new adaptor.
By the way you can find a extender for your current adaptor at Radio Shack that work around that funky ashtray.
Does this help? Let us know. Thanks.
