Try Downloading this (it's the installer/Setup Application for the XP Driver version)

If you don't trust me, Go to their website and Download the same file there.
I'm an Expert Driver Finder, and even I couldn't find the Vista Driver..

  • Anyways, Right-Click on the Setup file and select ->properties.
  • Then click on the compatibility tab, and select Run this program in compatibility mode for: Select WindowsXP (sevice pack 2).
  • Then click OK to exit the properties screen. And run the setup program, I think that shoul be it.
I Hope This Helps.

I only printed meybe a dozen cards from my Fargo C30 printer. When I install the driver, the XP and Vista computers will not find the printer via USB. Is there a special type of USB cable? Is there a way...

Try using the cable as provided along with your printer.

try to download the driver for XP and Vista from manufacturer website from this link

http://www.fargosupport.com/search_results.asp?pulldowntype=&all=1&printer=73&submit.x=24&submit.y=7

download the driver for windows XP

If your problem is not solved then replace the cable with another similar and connecting the printer to a different usb port on your computer.

try installing in a different computer

Software update for persona c30 card printer by fargo

You need to be a little more precise on your question, I am not sure if you are asking for new drivers for the c30 or firmware? or you have it already and dont know what to do. I'll assume its the first.

go to www.fargo.com to download the latest printer drivers for your C30. Also the firmware is up to 4.6.3 i believe.

thank you
