Question about Apple iPhone Smartphone
Iphone is unlocked and usable for T-mobile, and still is, but when my screen froze and all I got was the apple logo on the screen, I tried to restore my phone. I can successfully get thru the process and it shows the restoring of the iphone on the phone and itunes, but when its done, it simply goes right back to emergency mode. I've tried every suggestion in the book and no one's methods seem to have worked for me. If you could help me out that would greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time

i had the same problem and after hours of trial and error finally found the solution...
go to this topic: iphone_got_locked_when_upgraded_from...
i've posted a solution (marked as solution #2) the stuff you need is in the second part of that post, in the comment i added... i've done it on a 2G and a 3G, tho' i'm guessing it's the 2G that's giving you the problem, and maybe after upgrading the firmware.
read the whole topic and see if it applies to you.
hope that helps!!
