Question about Hamilton Beach 33015
I bought Hamilton Beach Crockpot model 417185-370 used for our Basketball team and it has a metal insert that fits under the ceramic pot inside the base. I am not sure if this is supposed to be used, or if it was placed inside this base by accident. Can I use it without this piece?
I have a west bend crockery cooker, model 84316. It was given as a gift. My wife has tried to use it 3 times and each time the outside becomes to hot to touch, while the contents of the removable crock gets only luke warm. I also noticed the bottom of the cooker has turned brown from excess heat, looks like a possible fire hazzard. Does anyone have this problem, is there a recall on this product.
