SOURCE: No audio with CD/DVD but works fine with aux and FM

Check the cable between the media centre and bass module for signs of damage (if its buried in the wall / under the floor and you can't check it, assume it could be damaged).

however, this sounds like a fault with the Digital Analogue Converter - this coverts the digital audio on a disc to analogue information the amplifer can use to produce sound. Contact your retailer for exchange / repair.....

SOURCE: No audio

I beleive that you have connected the HDMI cable to the TV and that you have connected audio out from the TV to the bose system.(I'm assuming that the Bose does not have HDMI connections) it won't work you will have to connect the Digital Fiber Optic out of the TV to the Bose or Direcly from the PS3 to the Bose. Now if you connect it direclly from the PS3 to the Bose you will have to change the audio settings on the PS3 in Audio out from HDMI to Digital Fiber Optic.

SOURCE: Audio problems with Bose 321 system

Hi, sounds like the centre front speaker is disconnected. Check the wiring on that, if all is good there then a fault most likely with the amp. To make sure try connecting a different speaker to the centre channel just for test purpose to eliminate a speaker/cable fault. Best of luck

hook up computer straight to t.v with hdmi cable. then get two aux cables (usually red and white) and run them straight from tv audio OUTPUT to audio INPUT on bose system. them anytime you want surround sound even when your watching tv just press the aux button on the bose system controller. should be perfect.

Make sure the HDMI device (TV, Blueray player) is set up for audio output. Usually HDMI 1 is the only connection that has audio out. Also some TVa have to be configured for HDMI audio out.

The video out port keeps crapping out. i need it to have my opitical cable work for my surround sound on my hdtv

Video Out is not related to optical- or ANY audio. Do you want surround some FROM your TV speakers or through the Bose? Think of where it really originates (maybe the Cable Box???). IT might have an optical audio output. And there is never any reason to run audio to a video device FIRST or video to an audio device FIRST.

Bose specializes in Audio, TV's specialize in VIDEO. Each should receive its primary media directly from the best sources available as not much good comes from extra cables and conenctions ziping all over the place.

Bose.com has the manual.

Can't get video to work so bose works with tv sound

We fixed it. We had everything hooked up right, but - stupid us - we didn't turn the sound off on the TV. Once I turned the TV's sound setting to off, I flipped the speaker switch a few times on the Bose remote, then turned up the volume on the Bose and it worked.
