My built in camera is not working , there was no problem.... the built in camera folder is not getting displayed on my computer what to do

It sounds like something happened to the driver software.

The easiest fix, is if it "just" happened... like just today or yesterday, and you know it was working fine, is to do a system restore. I don't know what operating system you have, but type system restore in the search box near the start button. Open system restore, and restore your computer to yesterday (or whenever it worked)

If it's been longer than a day or two, you need to go look for the driver. I don't what OS you have, what type of computer, or what type of camera you have...all this would have been helpful for me to help you...but I can tell you that your computer manufacturer has a place on their website to download drivers. You just have to go there. Go to their site...look for a link at the top or side that says "downloads" or "download drivers" or somehting like that. You will have to enter your complete model number of your computer (on the back or the bottom) and the correct operating sytem...this shoudl take you to a page with links to drivers for all your hardware on your machine. Look for the camera driver link, download, and install it. Depending on your operating system, when you go to install, you should right click, and select "run as administrator" to install it...Applies to Vista or 7.

If System Restore has been turned on you can restore it back to the last restore point. May not be yesterday but you can go back. Here is exactly how curtorsey of Microsoft: To use System Restore to restore Windows XP to a previous state, follow these steps:
  1. Log on to Windows as Administrator.
  2. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then clickSystem Restore. System Restore starts.
  3. On the Welcome to System Restore page, click Restore my computer to an earlier time (if it is not already selected), and then click Next.
  4. On the Select a Restore Point page, click the most recent system restore point in the On this list, click a restore point list, and then click Next.

Note A System Restore message may appear that lists configuration changes that System Restore will make. Click OK.

First of all just relax, its not very serious issue. You can start the computer in safe mode. All you need is click on F8 key during the boot process right after turn on the computer. Once you get into advanced safe mode, you can perform system restore. If you are using Vista on it you can just type System Restore in start search area and get into System restore option choose the date that system worked fine. After restore issue should be resolved. If you need further assistance please post.
