SOURCE: i can't connect my printer hp cm 1312 nfi to my

Please let me know the operating System installed on your computer (Windows xp or windows vista or windows 7 etc.. etc.. ). If possible, please mention the Bit version of the installed operating system, 32 bit or 64 bit. We'll try with the installer available online.

In the meantime, copy all the files on the Hp Disk and save them onto your computer and try running the install (setup) again.

Awaiting.
Thanks.

SOURCE: It appears that the fax

Try this :

1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button. ( Press the Select button.)
4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
7. Turn the printer off.
8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.

Occasionally, paper or other print media can become jammed during a print job. Some causes include the following events:

  • The input trays are loaded improperly or overfilled, or the media guides are not set properly.
  • Media is added to or removed from an input tray during a print job or an input tray is removed from the product during a print job.
  • The cartridge door is opened during a print job.
  • Too many sheets have accumulated in an output area, or sheets are blocking an output area.
  • The print media that is being used does not meet HP specifications. See Paper and print media .
  • The media is damaged or has foreign objects attached to it, such as staples or paper clips.
  • The environment in which the print media was stored is too humid or too dry. See Paper and print media .
  • The shipping tape has not been removed from one or more paper path areas.
You may try these to avoid frequent jams
  • Verify that the input tray is not overfilled. The input tray capacity varies depending on the type of print media that you are using.
  • Verify that the media guides are properly adjusted.
  • Check that the input tray is securely in place.
  • Do not add print media into the input tray while the product is printing.
  • Use only HP-recommended media types and sizes. See Paper and print media for more information about print media types.
  • Do not fan media prior to loading it in a tray. To loosen the ****, hold it firmly in both hands and twist the media by rotating your hands in the opposite direction.
  • Do not let print media stack up in the output bin. The print media type and the amount of toner used affect the output bin capacity.
  • Check the power connection. Make sure that the power cord is firmly connected to both the product and the power supply box. Plug the power cord into a grounded power outlet.

If nothing else works, you may have to manually calibrate the dials inside the mirror box. This video link will show you how. http://youtu.be/R1DIko0a1MA
This may be necessary if the printer got bumped really hard.

Part number for the OPC Drum in a HP toner cartridge CC530A.

That OPC is the same for HP CP1215/1515/1518/2020/1525 CM 1312/2320/1415 cartridges.
No Part number, search OPC HP CP1215/1515/1518/2020/1525 CM 1312/2320/1415.

My printer keeps saying there is a paper jam in tray 1 but I don't see anything. (HP 1312 nfi)

This error message is displayed by the printer when paper is jammed in one or more locations. In such a case, users are recommended to remove the jammed paper from the specified location. The entire paper path must be checked for any pieces of paper. To stop the message, open and close the top most cover of the printer. Lastly, verify the flags and the sensors. If the problem persists, the cause of the error message could be a broken sensor or sensor lever.
