Question about Protron PLTV-3750 Television
I recently purchased a Phillips DVD video player (DVP5990) to connect to my Protron PLTV-3750 TV. I have owned the Protron unit for about 3 years. When I connect a Monster HDMI cable from the DVD player to the TV and select the HDMI component I initially get no audio and within a short time (10 - 20 seconds) I get an on-screen message stating the the "DVD is connected - Non HDCP compliant".
A few seconds later I loose the video from that component.
The Monster customer technical support feels the issue is with the Protron TV. I would like to use the HDMI connection. Please help!!!
