You probly need a wiring harness....if this is the first aftermarket cd player in the truck... go to car audio place round town and ask for a wiring harness for your model truck....the wires will then be color coded.....hopefully this helps

How do i connect the 70-5700 to a 2000 lincoln town car?

Not all wires from the CD Player need to be connected to the town car, but you should know what the wires in the town car do. A wiring diagram or stereo adapter from any place that sells after-market radios should be a lot of help.

I took the factory radio out of my vehicle and the wires are different colors to the cd player i want to put in could you help me with the wiring?

this is actually an easy to fix solution, go down to your local parts store, or even walmart. what your looking for is a aftermarket radio adapter harness, this will allow you to connect your new stereo without having to cut wires or worry about if you got the right one in the right place. hope i could help, and good luck

What kind of adapter to install cd player into 2000 malibu

what you will need is the radio adapter kit for your car make. also you need a wiring connector for the car between car wiring and radio. match the wires to wires on radio, and then the connector will fit car wiring connector, just plug it in to car wiring.

Usually the universal colors are Yellow---battery; red---accessories
Orange –illumination; black –negative; then the speaker’s white-white/blk;
Purple-pur/blk; green-grn/blk and gray – gry/blk. Blue and wht/blue are power antenna or amp turns on. That is all you need to know

Im trying to change the radio out with aftermarket cd player in a 87 s10. witch wires are the power wires on the factory wires?

2 things. 1. Don't splice your factory wiring, look at auto zone or any auto repair place. buy the "factory radio adapter" (plugs into stock harness with new leads) 2. Buy a Haynes guide for your car also at these places. (will give pin outs for any wires etc) And for connector types I would suggest using the male female insulated crimp on ends, then if you go from one after market to another just unplug and go.

I recently got a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. It has a single disc factory installed CD Player. It worked well for a while, but now the eject button wont work. I wouldn't mind if it were a different cd, but...

The button for the eject is most likely dirty or damaged. Factory radio's are not easy to work on and most shops unless they are factory certified will refuse to work on them because the factory will not distribute the diagrams, this sounds like an easy fix for a shop and not very expensive. I would recommend taking it to a local radio store that installs radio's , have them remove it and see if they can fix it. on some radio's there is a small hole near where the cd is inserted, stick a small needle or something in it. This is most of the time a reset, or emergency eject for the cd. I hope this helps, if you need more info just contact me. good luck.

Car radio/cd player has stopped working

It could infact be the fuse.. check the fuse panel for radio fuse should be a 10 amp or 15 amp fuse. look for blown fuse .. if u can find the fuse.. pull every fuse one by one.. putting back every one in its place untill you find the right fuse. MAKE SURE KEY IS OUT OF IGNITION. (CAR IS NOT RUNNING) lights off etc.
