My arrow on monitor froze all troubleshooting says mouse OK

My mouse stopped moving the arrow on the monitor. I restarted and reinstalled the software. I unplugged and reconnected the mouse. I did all the checking and all comes back that the mouse is OK. Batteries OK.
But the mouse remains set as if it is stuck on a piece of cheese......
what is the problem?

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud

My acer 15.6inch the cursor is frozen wont move

Hello,

Which mouse are you using? Is it the integrated mouse or the USB mouse?

If you are using the USB mouse, then try checking if it's plugged in correctly.

If it's your integrated mouse, then restart the computer and when it's up. Try moving your mouse. Restarting it usually does the trick.

If restarting it won't fix the problem, then restart and boot to safe mode. While restarting, tap F8 until you see the options to boot to safe mode. Highlight safe mode by using the arrow keys and hit enter. When you are in safe mode, try moving your mouse. Works or not - update the mouse driver. You can use RadarSync. If no go, then you might need to do a system restore. If worse comes worst, do a complete operating system reinstallation.

I hope this helps!

Computer froze and can not move the mouse arrow. I did try to restart as well but arrow will not move

Does the keyboard work?

Try putting the mouse in another USB port, or even better try another mouse. You might need to let it "install" the mouse first, this can take a minute or so when you boot up, so all you need to do is turn the PC on with the new mouse plugged in and leave it for a while, then try to use it again.

If the keyboard isn't working either, then it sounds like the Operating System is a bit broken! contact me and i'll try to help you fix it.

Mouse cursor moving by itself

In windows xp go into start menu, then into control panel then click on appearance and themes, then move your mouse over to mouse pointers click on it , uncheck "enhance pointer precision, and click apply, that will stop the mouse from acting crazy, this will work with dell mouse pointers and most.
